Ok, Video time. This concerns a movie that I went to the cinema to see and utterly loved. It's a Horror/Thriller movie called The Ghost and the Darkness, and its about a real event that happened where 2 lions stalked and killed over 100 people at a Bridge Building Project in Africa. The film was Amazing, and more people need to watch it.

This guy goes through it and how close the film was to actual events, but it shows off some of the amazing visuals in the movie. If you haven't seen the move then see it. Its great, but at least watch this youtube video as it goes into the historical realities of the time, which was really, really fascinating. The Fogbow will also enjoy the brief discussion of the how the British were trying to shut down the Arab African Slave Trade routes by building the bridge, which might have started the whole thing as the Lions were used to picking off sick and dying slaves that the Arabs would discard on the routes.

Anyway, this is 20 minutes you wont regret watching. Enjoy!

The difference between the Middle Ages, and the Age of the Internet, is that in the Middle Ages no-one thought the Earth was flat.

Emilia died 3 weeks after the ride.

I fired up the Google because Hammond said it was the only pink Lamborghini in the world, and Nicki Minaj is pretty famous for hers. The Rays of Sunshine event took place Sept. 20, 2013. Minaj’s was wrapped in October 2013 for her Oct 18th product launch. What are the odds of 2 Lamborghinis being painted pink within a month of each other?

Figure Skating! I'm really missing it. I think Skate America in January was the last competition in '20. Here's Nathan Chen demolishing the previous top score.

I never really appreciated ice dancing until watching Charlie White and Meryl Davis. When you become familiar with the rules and requirements it all makes sense and increases the enjoyment of watching the couples that excel at it. Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron are really young, they were in the Juniors just a couple or so years ago. They've been skating together since they were kids and it really shows, they just always know where the other one is and the level of trust is sky high.

Well, if we are going to consider The Sound of Silence, this is the best - Nyle DiMarco, born deaf, wins Dancing with the Stars.

Yes, it is. It was heard/asl through out the international deaf community. It was a wonderful thing. I still cry when I see it.

The pairs are my least favorite of the 4 main skating disciplines, but that program by James and Cipres was gorgeous. They were the favorites for the 2019 world championships, but during the warmups for the short program, Vanessa James collided with a male skater. She wasn't injured but it shook her up and they did poorly in the short and ended up in 5th overall.

I find this interesting - a good description of the different types of jumps. I still have trouble telling them apart, but it's the best video I've found for explaining the nuances:
