The remaining two boys from Saturday's event got adopted:

Tomato and Pickles have two older fur siblings and their own page under new names:

Does puppy bark a lot? Kitteh is sound asleep with her head right next to laptop. Last time I clicked sound on for a video the poor dear jumped straight up from a sleeping position.

On the video i just posted? Not much barking that I remember. Most sound is the woman taking the video talking and encouraging the dogs. ETA: also background "music"
When you click to play the video, the sound is Muted and you have to turn it on and adjust volume to be louder.

TY. I'm glad the videos are muted for sound. Let sleeping kitty sleep.

I had cats rotating turns in the lap today :lovestruck:

It's very rare that I can get a pic of Starla the tabby that shows her sweet side instead of her grump face that the camera always picks up.

And round two - Starla leaves and Kendra claims it. A very lazy Sunday, at least I was able to get some reading in while they napped in lap :lovestruck:

Clark the cat has a lot of strange obsessions, but the strangest and most annoying is peanut oil. I usually lock it in the pantry so he can't get to it, but today I used it when making pancakes and forgot to put it back. I came home a little while ago, after less than two hours of errands, to find the bottle upended on the stove, the plastic cap broken, and half the nearly full bottle's contents all over the kitchen floor. He likes olive oil too, but peanut oil is absolutely irresistible to him.

Cats iz weird.

Was it catnip infused peanut oil? ;)

Now that would actually make sense. No, just regular peanut oil. He's just weird. This is the second bottle whose lid he's managed to break. I cook with peanut oil a lot, I prefer it to sunflower or corn oil. Hmm, maybe I should find out what oil he doesn't like and cook with that. It would save me from cleaning up a huge mess.

I would put on heavy work gloves and use the cat to mop up the peanut oil. Cat fur is very absorbent, and ... bonus! He gets to lick the peanut oil off himself for hours of yummy entertainment.

Leon is giving me the look. He knows I'm only half joking.

Leon, thank goodness, eschews peanut oil. He sticks to chicken and solid white albacore, when he can get them.

My Siri, a calico, eschews “real food”, except if it is of her own catching and she only tastes that since it is an offering to me. She likes dry cat food, especially Greenies.

Trouble turns her nose up at people food and any form of wet kitty food. (She will slurp up any gravy though.) She just wants her kibble.

Edit to add: she LOVES orange juice for some reason.

I've seen a fair bit of cat weirdness, but peanut oil. That is one I've never heard before.

Dining room, top; kitchen: bottom; pantry: left; bathroom: right.
That curve coming around the kitchen and into the dining room at top speed is brutal. These are Top Fuel race cats, someone will simply have to rearrange the rugs after the event.

Tricksy went to the spa yesterday and got spa-ed. Well, spayed. She came home very confused. We tipped the cat tree over so she wouldn’t jump up on it, so she was convinced the floor was the wall. Sort of tried climbing all over the thing.
