Love all the cat photos. They are all gorgeous. And that's coming from a "dog person". I do love those kitties though.

I discovered something funny about Tulip. She's afraid of music and singing. It seems no matter who's doing it. She runs away and then watches from a safe space. The first time was when I had on a pair of headphones and was singing along with a song from my playlist. She acted terrified, ran away and hid. I just thought she didn't like my singing. In all honesty, few people would. ;) Then, I was just playing something on my computer which is hooked up to the TV. An actual professional singing. She ran to the back bedroom, stopping for a short time to stare at the TV with a look of pure shock on her face.

Poor dear. I guess I'm going to have to play my music with the headphones on and try to refrain from singing out loud. :silenced:

They are so cute when they are little enough to fit in your hand. I took that picture on Sept 1, the day we got him at 12 weeks old. A bit less than 2 lbs. He's now almost grown, about 6 lbs. -- even though I've told him every day, "Do not grow." Still full of kitten energy. My sweet adult cat, Snookie (who is my avatar) bonded immediately. Even the dog is happier with Bodie, although not always tolerant. A much happier house with him.

My husband has said for years we could make a million dollars if we could breed miniature cats. My 20 lb Boo Radley doesn't agree.

Well, there's an unusual chat-up line. You'd cause quite a commotion in the delivery room too, and medical history.

Love this doctor’s video!

Sugar, we haven’t moved the cats yet. I think I was too worried about them. :P
The movers showed up Monday to pack. I saw the truck in the driveway, saw them start up the walk...then nothing. They had disappeared! I opened the front door and all three of them were crouched in front of the catio on the front porch, chatting up the kitties, admiring the catio and figuring out how Brian could build one on his porch. Brian has 6 kitties and feeds 14 ferals in his back yard. The others all have cats, too.

So the cats didn’t hide at all. They each picked their favorite mover and lounged about in the room with them, got pets and admiration while their admirers packed. No one tried to escape, no one hid terrified in the closet...well, Coco did for a minute, but Jerry charmed her out.

Tomorrow they’ll come back with me for the real move-in day, after movers and plumbers are (finally  ) done. They’re dying to find out what the hell all the commotion is about. :bighug:

 They will have mover withdrawal. Be prepared to answer lots of questions.
