By the way, I do have a Facebook account if that makes a difference in viewing results.

On my Windows 8.1 laptop -

Firefox - no video, just the message "Cannot load Facebook SDK. Disable any adblocker or tracking protection and try again."

Chrome - Runs fine.

Microsoft Internet Explorer - Runs fine.

Apple devices -

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 13.3 - Runs fine.

iPad Mini 5, iOS 13.3 - Runs fine.

iPad Air 3, iOS 13.3 - The video just sort of blinks when I click on the Play button. That's bizarre. I thought I mostly had my iPad Mini and iPad Air set up pretty similarly.

👌, same video below, one exact c/p from Fire tablet browser. Then again taking out the m as Sugar suggested.

The media extension is not capable of being configured. I can't help with this one. :bag:

I didn't realize that was a kitten to start with, that grew in to a fairly large cat. Bestest buddies I can tell.

That’s what happened with the clips that failed for me. Started & stopped a half-second later.

I’ll try to play the clips above on desktop; on iPhone now & they work fine.

Kendra's Pandas and Goldens fail on computer, but everything else plays.

So basically, every clip with the Facebook logo in the corner fails to play on desktop (iMac, Safari, MacOS 15.2).

Update: I tried signing in to Facebook on another browser tab, then trying again to watch the FB clips.

Nada.

Should I stop sharing FB videos then?

Or, I can link to them and then also post a broken link, assuming the person(s) who can't see it can c/p into a browser and watch from there?

I didn't, but it's bookmarked now. Thanks!!

Edited to add, I don't know what the big round hole is in the middle of their sunning platform but I've chosen to visualize it as their hot tub, little otters lounging about in sunglasses, drinking boat drinks.

If you ever get to Central CA, Monterey peninsula is worth a visit, and not just for that fabulous aquarium.

When visiting NY last fall, I told my stepsister I wanted to visit the Central Park Zoo. She said, no, you want to visit the Brooklyn Zoo. I insisted, No, I want to go to the CENTRAL PARK Zoo. I wanted to see the historic clock, but I also wanted to see puffins. I've never seen a live puffin. Sadly, they hid from us but I enjoyed all the different types of penguins. It was a tad cool in there so I retired to the otter pond.

But speaking of adorable babies, here's some puffins.

Uh... no.

As I said, for me the ones that worked were Windows 8.1 laptop with Chrome and Internet Explorer, and my up-to-date iPhone 8 and iPad Mini.

The ones which did NOT work for me were Windows 8.1 laptop with Firefox, and my up-to-date iPad Air 3.

So a mix of devices, along with an iPad Mini and iPad Air 3 which were almost identical but the video played in one but not the other. While I can understand a difference in browsers on my laptop, I'm stymied as to why my iPad Mini and iPad Air act differently.

As long as the videos run on at least one of my devices, I'm happy.

I can't recall which aquarium I saw an outdoor Puffin exhibit (Monterey Bay I think), but they were adorable. I could have spent hours watching them play.
