:lovestruck: Love Tricksy.

Some video of Alex and Topaz, the last two to be adopted from FDJ's last litter (and my coworker).

 I love their video. I'm so happy your coworker adopted them both - big hugs to coworker! :bighug:

She looks so comfortable in her little travel crate.

We bought what looks like the same thing for my cat. The first time we used it, it wasn't too bad. Since then, we have had trouble getting her in it. I finally just bought one of those "cheap" cardboard box carriers. They open at the top and it is easier to plop her in.
I've been told I could just stand my current crate on its end and slide her in. But it is a smaller opening than the top loaders.

If we ever buy another plastic one, it will have a top opening.

The top opening is a must, especially with Miss Floof (Kendra). She's not an easy one to get in the carrier. With the top like on the one I own below, I can slip her in, hold her neck to keep her still while I zip it back up. I've had this carrier for three years now, perfect for going to and from the vet.

Lap kitties are the best. When I first brought Tulip home she hid all day and only came out at night when she thought she couldn't be seen. She would eat a big bowl of food late at night. Now, she's a total and complete lap addict. She wants to be on my lap All. The. Time. :lovestruck:

Tricksy is just adorable. And very pretty, too.

You never do know with cats what they like and don't like, but at $10 sale price I took a shoot. Very surprised, Miss Floof at 11/12 and has been down in the dumpsies in this heat is fascinated.

Another Saturday another vet visit. Now it's Ginger who's been losing weight rapidly (which we didn't notice until Yokai was gone, or maybe it just suddenly got worse). She's always been a barfer, but this last week she's been barfing more. And she's been peeing frequently but not a lot of volume.

On examination, she had a bilateral eye infection, unilateral ear infection, and had definitely lost weight. The doctor ran down the many possibilities and diagnostic tests, and we settled for a full blood panel and urinalysis, treat the eye and ear infections, and go from there. She's only 10, but has had a rough medical history - panleukopenia as a kitten, and two episodes of mysterious paralysis, both times treated successfully with steroids. Most likely this time it's diabetes, kidney disease or lymphoma.

She was a very good girl at the vet, of course. She's a trooper. And a squeaker. Seriously, she has the sweetest little squeaky voice. So if you all could cross your paws for her, I'd appreciate it.

I picked up this brush during Prime Day sale. Awesome, works as represented. I push the button down to release brush (wire) and when I'm done I release the button and all the hair and dander wipes right off.

I bought two of those in November. It's perfect, and Gracie loves being brushed with it. I found I don't even need to wipe the hair off - just a shake over the trash can is enough. I bought a third one last month as a gift for the friend who gave me Gracie. She says that her cats absolutely adore it.

My girls are not fond of being brushed, but when I can get it at them, the results with this are great. I was able to get a few good brushings in on Miss Floof while she was distracted eating her diner and it was so easy to get the stuff off the brush. I I imagine the results with dog owners are huge.

Unfortunately the news with Ginger is not good. It looks like she has either IBD or lymphoma, probably lymphoma. Unfortunately it can't be definitely diagnosed without a lot of testing including X-ray, ultrasound and then a biopsy; we lost Koshi, our orange tabby boy, when he had a catastrophic incident during his biopsy/exploratory surgery, so...not going there.

So we're still treating the eye/ear infections, and making sure she gets extra wet food and no human food, hopefully that'll keep the barfing under control There just aren't a lot of options without having the exploratory surgery, according to my vet. I may ask for a second opinion (we go to a large practice and just take any vet available, and this time we ended up with the one I don't really like - no bedside manner, and too quick to bring up euthanasia). With Koshi we did B12 shots that kept him feeling good for about a year or so, so I may ask about those for Ginger. If any of you have gone though cat lymphoma and have any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

I'm really hating this month so far....
