Anyone who voted for this turd deserves to be represented by him. He is quite representative of the modern Repig.

I have always said that most Republicans would vote for a turd as long as there is an "R" by the turd. SC will probably prove me right again.Mark Sanford (R-Gentina)

Congressman Sanford will likely run unopposed in 2014. According to the Cook Political Report the SC-1 congressional district has a Partisan Voting Index of R+11. We saw tonight that voters in that district will elect anyone with an R behind their name. Like Stern said, all the candidate has to do is demonize Obama, Pelosi or any other Democrat.

In 2006 he won 55% - 44%. So all the stuff since then has cost him zero votes. AMERICA, FUCK YAH!!

Pfft. He can't help himself; he'll do something get him kicked out or forced to resign. Then he'll run for something else and win, then do something to get him kicked out or forced to resign. Lather, rinse, repig.Plus, have ya looked at recent photos of the guy? seriously raddled, skinny and just ill looking. I think there may be some substance abuse issues. Just speculation, of course.

The RWNJs started it, but I'm increasingly inclined to agree: Secession is the only answer.Go for it! I won't stand in your way.

And his election is all due to the magic R behind his name and his good friend Jerry Mander. As long as he wasn't doing all of this with another man, the Party of Family Values could care less.
