OK, number-crunching, assuming VA win and giving HRC the west and with the announcement of W in RI (4 EV) I have her at 271. I also gave her the W in PA, MI, MN, and WI. So she can lose Fla, NC, and OH.

I fucking hate this. Hoped to be cruising to a blissful sleep by now.

On VA, VA Elections, CNN, and WaPo all have slightly different numbers. But HRC now ahead in all 3 by about 16K.

Well she's clearly not winning in Wisconsin, so there's that. :blackeye:

If Hillary loses FL, then she needs one of VA, NC, or OH and the rest of her firewall to hold, including NH OR NV. Those are the races to watch now.

And to every single one of you out there, if the worst does happen, we will get through this. Together. We must unite in compassion and reason to withstand the bigotry and fear and hate that Trump has mobilized. If we do that, we might lose tonight, but we won't be defeated.

It might be hard, it might not be pretty, but through faith and hard work we will eventually win. Because the moral arc of the universe might be long, but I truly believe that it does bend towards justice.

I love you all and, come what may, I'm privileged to share it with you.

I don't think that would be enough. What are your numbers? MI+ PA=36 EV. Not enough.

Nite all.

So far nothing earth-shattering has happened re EVs.

I''m not sitting up all night nail-biting.

We've all done all we can. Panicking and hand-wringing won't change the end result.

See you on the flip side.

The meta-margin closed at around 2.2 percent. From what I'm seeing, Trump is outperforming in most of these key states by more than 2 percent. This may come down to NV.

Dow futures down 625 points.

Just occurred to me that if Clinton manages to win, there is no way in hell that Trump will concede.

I am having a hard time keeping calm. I wanted that gold-embossed little bug-man and his ilk crushed tonight. Now I'll be happy if we win.

The Clinton campaign had the best internal polling money can buy. They had to know it was desperately close. The last two days should have given us all warning. Trump simply followed them around, knowing the Clinton campaign wouldn't be spending resources needlessly.

Florida is a big disappointment. Steve Schale was exultantly counting all the urban Hispanic votes but ignored the red areas. If he was working for a campaign that would be malpractice.

I think it's going to be close and I think Mrs. Clinton is going to lose.

I'm not sure James Comey is to fault, but he might be. This was another powerful change election, with smoldering resentment by white people and others who just wanted to throw the bums out.
