I'm wondering if the Aenks have just scampered off, or if they've been murdered. I don't have much good to say about them, but it seems really odd that they would abandon the horses. I suspect that dogs were abandoned as well--one of the local dog rescues is desperately trying to find foster homes, not related to Harvey.
There was a poot Facebook posting a couple weeks ago that claimed the Aenks disappeared under suspicious circumstances. I didn't see any corroborating posts elsewhere so I have no idea what really happened.

Just found this link on Moo's page: http://www.krem.com/mobile/article/news ... -472133269
STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. -- A Lincoln County horse rescue is taking on more than 20 horses abandoned by another horse rescue.

The Stevens County Sheriff's Office is now investigating after more than 20 horses were abandoned. Rough Start Horse Rescue taking on the animals, but they need your help to feed them and to find them permanent homes.
Oh, and Moo says Schuyler's sentencing is today 1PM.

Interesting. I shall have to consult with a friend who has worked with Rough Start in the past and see if they know more.

I didn't see a time stanp on the article, which implies that the sentencing had already taken place, saying as it does,
the Seattle judge who sentenced the militiaman to a two-year prison term Friday.
But I'll take your word for it :P

From the linked seattlepi article:
Prosecutors asked that Barbeau receive a six-year prison term, four years shy of what he would have likely faced if convicted at trial. Federal sentencing guidelines, though, call for a far lighter sentence for Barbeau – about two years in prison, the term he is requesting.

Judge Jones imposed a 27-month sentence, the maximum usual term for Barbeau's offenses. Jones sentenced Barbeau Friday afternoon in Seattle.
Barbeau has been in detention, but the article didn't say how long or what credit he would receive on his sentence.

I should have checked - they must have updated it because I read that same article before sentencing - my bad.

At first I was like, what? Where do you see that? There's a "more" button on my phone screen that I missed, so half the article was missing. :blackeye:

ETA: Schuyler gets to soend a bunch if time in the pokey while we discuss how much time he'll actually serve. I forget when he went in the clink, but he'll get day-for-day credit for that.

SSG Moo "reporting" includes time served. She says he might be out by Christmas ( he has been incarcerated since early Dec. 2015) so 21 months - maybe time off for good behavior or transfer to a halfway house for last 3 months? IDK but Moo will "explain" live soon. I won't watch.

I watched SSG MoeRon's latest video about Schuyler Barbeau's sentencing (she and about 8 supporters were there):

Some interesting stuff.

1) Per MoeRon, the judge seems like a nice guy but he doesn't know the law or the constitution. Let that sink in.

2) MoeRon has gone SovCit. Lots of crap about 'maritime law'.

3) MoeRon is a pompous, arrogant ass who can't pronounce big words correctly.

4) The most disturbing part: MoeRon claims one of the jurors came to the sentencing, spoke to Schuyler's fans to offer their support and then DONATED THEIR JURY PAY TO COVER THE COST OF SCHUYLER'S COURT FEES. :eek2:

Thanks for the report. There is no way I can watch a 45 minute Moo video. She is a liar so I am skeptical about the juror thing.

Well, if that's true (which I doubt), I bet he's wishing he had just cast his lot with the jury right about now rather than chickening out mid-trial and pleading guilty.

But I have a hard time believing even one juror would do such a thing after Barbeau, by his guilty plea, essentially said he didn't trust them to acquit him.

On the other hand, if it is true, what the fuck is going on with our jury system? It would have meant another hung jury at a minimum. Jeebus.
