Those who live in WA State will recognize the name. He's Mr. I Don't Want To Pay Taxes To Support Anything.

A little back ground for those who don't know Tim's interesting past:

It seems that he's now declaring bankruptcy so that he can continue to scoop in cash.

Bankruptcy filings can be fun, to see who the debtor owes and how much. I may sign into PACER when I have some down time and see what's there.

The bankruptcy was filed as a Chapter 11, rather than a Chapter 7. Most of the roughly $3 million in debts listed are to the State of Washington related to pending litigation. If no plan can be confirmed and the case is converted to a Chapter 7, penalties owed to governmental units cannot be discharged.

Charming individual. Who knew being a gadfly/pain in the ass paid so well. Doesn't look like the AG was a big fan though. Really painful when your turkey buzzards come home to roost though it would seem and he doesn't seem to want to pay up.

I know there must be a few people out there who would feel sorry for him.*

Eyman, who is not an attorney but was representing himself, had asked for a partial summary judgment that such a ban would be a violation of his First Amendment rights of political free speech.
Big surprise. The nutters always think they're smarter than they are.

Knowing Tim Eyman, he probably thought that his followers would be full of praise for his excellence in lawyer-speak after he'd won victory after victory. Plus, of course, he could keep all that money that would otherwise be going to an attorney.

Oh, go for it! Waste your time doing that and you won't have time to do other stupid stuff.
