I had my second Moderna vaccine on Saturday.

On Sunday, I was sick as a dog. Cold, chills, 100.4 temperature, muscle ache, generally feeling yucky (I believe that's the correct technical term). Tylenol helped. I only have one kidney, so I'm not supposed to take Ibuprophen.

Today, I'm much better. I did notice a little bit of sensitivity at the injection site, but nothing serious.

We're not out of the woods yet, but things are looking up.

That's about the same reaction Mrs. RC to her second Moderna shot. I just had the sore arm.

Hey, we are up to 59% totally vaccinated! :bighug:

Had my 2nd Pfizer yesterday. Fitful sleep and weird dreams last night. Tired this am so slept an extra hour. Woke up feeling pretty good, so I did a few easy, short-duration projects around Maybelot (spackling and painting). Now I’m starting to drag a bit - a little hot, then a little cold. So Ima spend the rest of the day on the sofa watching teevee, something I haven’t done in years.

The state just opened up to everyone above 18, starting tomorrow, a week early. Now, only my son has to get it in the immediate family.

Got my second shot today, so relieved! They're telling us to make sure we take a photo of our vaccination card so we have it in case we need it for anything. :faint:

And another suggestion (seen here? I forget) is to email yourself a copy of that photo.

That's what I did. I will save a copy on my phone and keep it in my email. If I ever need it, I can reach my email from anywhere in the world.

I'm not getting a hard copy; it's in an app as part of my medical record. I'm going to do a screen shot, although it won't show my name.

People traveling to Hawaii and people traveling around the islands will soon(I hope) be able to upload their vax certificates to the Safe Travel system, which currently only includes pre-flight covid test results. So one day not too far away, son and I can visit each other with just showing that we are in the system and are not required to quarantine.

My second Pfizer didn’t leave a mark, and I can’t tell where it went in. I know the nurse did it high on the arm. The bandage came off, and it’s not sore.

My post-injection fever is 95.4°F.

We’ll see how tomorrow goes.

Today is the open-up day for us. Sprout went online last night and snagged a Pfizer appointment for TODAY!

My only concern is his bee allergy. It shouldn’t bee a problem but they may keep him an extra 15 mins after.

They kept me an extra 15 minutes because of alpha gal. No biggie.

They kept my 35 y/o daughter an extra 15 minutes for both shots because she got hives while taking amoxicillin when she was three. But yeah, no biggie.

My mister got his 2nd Moderna jab yesterday. He is so sick. He had a high fever all night, could barely walk, and has intense body pain. He knows this is a good thing. But he's having a rough time right now.

Hugs to your mister. My twin sister had a rough time after her second Moderna.
