Can we compromise by calling it a dead trump bounce?

One lives in hopeful anticipation.

Still as a man who seems to stake his all on the irrational over exuberance of the stock market indices, today must have been terribly emasculating.

You asked earlier if this can be blamed on Trump. If you go back and read the WaPo article I posted at 3:30 this morning, the problem is that other than Jerome Powell, Trump has a bunch of incompetents at the helm in the White House, like TV pundit who is always wrong, Larry Kudlow. Mnuchin is slightly less incompetent, but these people have been solely focused on propping up Trump instead of doing what's best for the country. Now the chickens are coming home to roost and they will run to Congress looking for a bailout for their rich friends.

Just passed 7% down again. Doesn't that mean another suspension?

The Media caused it, so sayeth Der Fuhrer. That powerful Media must be beaming their signals to Asia and Europe. Those markets were dropping all weekend. Trump is another who doesn’t see the world beyond any building he is living in.

What, do they only halt trading at 7% down once on any given day?

DJIA just crossed 8% down.

Trump plans to meet with some Wall Street gurus and see if anything can be done to resolve the situation. Sure Donnie, interfere with the free market and watch that move backfire. Everything else you touch turns into hovno.

They halt trading again if it reaches 13%. If it reaches 20% after that they'll close the market for the day.

Which would be the largest single-day point loss, and a top-10 single-day percentage loss.

So much winning.

A neighbor just send me a meme celebrating new lower gasoline prices!!!

I tried to explain the economic situation, as best I could in my limited capacity, but she was too busy running around with her fingers in her ears, singing lalalalalalala.

I told her to be careful what she wished for (they're self employed, running a small craft business) and now she's mad at me.

It’s been that time for a few years now.
