No. I'm glad that even in my seventieth's I have preserved some of my boyish dreams. Maybe that is one of the things that distinguish men from women.

Indeed, the number of women in their seventies who preserve some of your boyish dreams in small.

That said, most women in their seventies are well aware that many of the boyish dreams of their male friends were unwittingly sexist, cruel, and condescending. So we tend to think twice now before laughing along.

I like Peapod because they're the cheapest. We have Freshdirect and Shoprite here in addition to Amazon. Freshdirect is an internet only market that serves NYC, NJ and the Philly area (and the Hamptons and Jersey Shore in the summer). With food they're kind of like Whole Foods, but with all or most of the regular supermarket brands. They have pretty awesome prepared food and meals. Peapod costs $7.95 and I think Freshdirect is $9.95. Shoprite is a fricking ridiculous $20+. I never saw anything on Amazon that I couldn't get with Peapod so I've never bothered even trying it.

I missed you guys too. But, for a while, I just wanted to ignore Trump. After the election I set up five or six automatic monthly contributions to groups like ACLU, PP, NARAL, Lambda Legal and devoted myself to fooling around with my family tree. I just retired the end of March and I'm waiting for my 1st pension check (which hopefully will come this week). In the interim I'm Uber-ing.

It's been fun. I found a lot of good family gossip. Like one grandfather being busted for trying to buy pot and the other getting him out. This was during Prohibition and the grandpa who sprung him was a state narcotics agent.

My local Fred Meyer (Kroger owned) had started an order online and pick up your order at your scheduled time. No idea why I took so long, since the first three were free, but what a time saver. Weekend shopping is a bear, plus parking and waiting to check out. I pulled into the special parking area, called to let them know I was there and in a couple of minutes out she came with my stuff and loaded into the car. Huge time saver.
