So, dismissed as moot. I don't have any problem with that tbh.

The decision stops the travel restrictions nationwide before they were scheduled to take full effect on Wednesday.

A judge in Maryland has also blocked the ban.

Starting today, and gradually rolling out over the next little bit, all incoming passengers to the US will be hit with further security screening, in the form of closer examination of their electrical devices and a questionnaire or interview with an airline employee. We are now expected to arrive at the airport three hours earlier to allow for this added security screening, which seems to serve no other purpose than to allow Trump to spread fear. (Really, where is the evidence that existing screening isn't good enough?) This applies to US citizens and foreign nationals alike and is supposed to capture each and every person entering the US by plane.

Tourism has already been hit hard by Trump and his various travel bans. This is only going to make it worse. Why would anyone visit the US for a holiday when they could go somewhere else and NOT be treated like a criminal? On a personal level Trump's already cost Hawaii several thousand dollars of tourist dollars from my family (my parents and sister were going to fly across to Hawaii and spend a week with us, too, and they didn't; so that's 3 hotel rooms for 7 days, 21 meals for 7 people, shopping, attractions, etc. that didn't happen) and we as a family have decided to not go to the US until Trump is out of office and some sanity is restored to Customs and Immigration, because it's just not worth the hassle. There are plenty of other places we can go. For a person who claims to have made his fortune through hotels, he is really quite stupid and self-sabotaging.

CNN: 9th Circuit green-lights some Trump administration travel ban restrictions:
A federal appeals court handed the Trump administration a partial victory Monday, granting its emergency request to allow parts of its latest travel ban to go into effect while the appeal is pending.

A three-judge panel -- all appointed by former President Bill Clinton -- on the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals decided Monday to keep the lower court's order in place, freezing the ban, for foreign nationals who have a "close familial relationship" with a person in the United States, but granted the Trump administration's request to allow it to go into effect for everyone else.

The 9th Circuit panel is set to hear oral arguments on the case on December 6.
The 9th's order, which essentially tracks SCOTUS' prior order.
