These ratings probably drive Trump bonkers. This is why he had the rally in PA, I think.

What are they talking about? That WAS the honeymoon. When his current supporters give up on the incompetent jerk, his approval ratings will deteriorate.

WaPo
This poll number might be the worst one yet for President Trump ...

A new Gallup poll on Tuesday showed just 40 percent of people said Trump has made progress after 100 days when it comes to changing the way Washington works; 54 percent said he hasn’t.

Image

This finding echoes — and is slightly worse than — a Fox News poll last week, which showed 43 percent believe he is bringing real change to Washington, versus 50 percent who say he’s not.

These numbers are a far cry from where we were after Trump’s election.

In December, an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll showed 68 percent thought Trump would change the way business is conducted in Washington. Just a couple days prior, a CBS News poll put the number at 62 percent. Even many people who didn’t vote for Trump clearly thought he could deliver on change.

From Addie's WaPo article:

Unfortunately, those earlier polls were right - see EPA, DOJ, ICE, DOA, FCC, SEC, DOI, etc., etc., etc. - all very busy undoing Obama and previous administrations' regulations.

Independent
A record number of people regret voting for Trump, poll suggests

A new poll from Fox News, conducted under Anderson Robbins Research and Shaw & Company Research, has found that only 36 per cent of the American public would vote to re-elect Donald Trump.

When asked "if the 2020 presidential election were held today", 36 per cent say they would re-elect Trump, while 55 per cent would vote for someone else.

Compare this to the same question about Obama's first 100 days in 2009 by Fox News, and the results are harrowing.
If the 2020 presidential election were held today, would you:

The Hill
Poll: Most federal employees disapprove of Trump

More than half of federal employees disapprove of President Trump's performance during his first 100 days in office, according to a new poll.

Fifty-eight percent disapprove of Trump, according to a Government Business Council survey released Friday.

Thirty-seven percent approve of Trump’s presidency so far, while 4 percent remain uncertain.

The breakdown falls along strict party lines. Pollsters found that 92 percent of federal workers who identify as Democrat disapprove of Trump, followed by 60 percent of independents and 18 percent of Republicans.

However, participants on both sides overwhelmingly think Trump should be held to the same standard as federal employees, with 86 percent agreeing with that idea.

Quinnipiac University National Poll
May 10, 2017 - U.S. Voters Send Trump Approval To Near Record Low; Quinnipiac University National Poll Finds; No Winner In Media War, But Voters Trust Media More

American voters, who gave President Donald Trump a slight approval bump after the missile strike in Syria, today give him a near-record negative 36 - 58 percent job approval rating, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today. Critical are big losses among white voters with no college degree, white men and independent voters.

Today's job approval rating compares to a negative 40 - 56 percent approval rating in an April 19 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University and a negative 35 - 57 percent score April 4, his lowest approval rating since he became president.

The president is losing support among independent voters and groups which are important parts of his base. Approval ratings are:
Negative 29 - 63 percent among independent voters, down from a negative 38 - 56 percent April 19;

A split among white voters with no college degree, as 47 percent approve and 46 percent disapprove, compared to a 57 - 38 percent approval April 19;

White men go from a 53 - 41 percent approval April 19 to a split today with 48 percent approving and 46 percent disapproving.
American voters' opinions of several of Trump's personal qualities are down:
61 - 33 percent that he is not honest, compared to 58 - 37 percent April 19;

56 - 41 percent that he does not have good leadership skills, little change;

59 - 38 percent that he does not care about average Americans, compared to 57 - 42 percent April 19;

66 - 29 percent that he is not level-headed, compared to 63 - 33 percent last month;

62 - 35 percent that he is a strong person, little change;

56 - 41 percent that he is intelligent, compared to 58 - 38 percent;

64 - 32 percent that he does not share their values, compared to 61 - 35 percent
"There is no way to spin or sugarcoat these sagging numbers," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.
Also:
By a 54 - 38 percent margin, American voters want the Democratic Party to win control of the U.S. House of Representatives. This is the widest margin ever measured for this question in a Quinnipiac University poll, exceeding a 5 percentage point margin for Republicans in 2013.

Quinnipiac University national poll
May 11, 2017 - 21% Of U.S. Voters Approve Of Revised GOP Health Plan, Quinnipiac University National Poll Finds; Voters Reject Trump Tax Plan Almost 2-1

Only 21 percent of American voters approve of the Republican health care plan passed by the U.S. House of Representatives last week, a slight improvement over the 17 percent who approved of the first health care plan in March, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today. Overall, the current health plan goes down 56 - 21 percent.

Except for an anemic 48 - 16 percent support among Republicans, every listed party, gender, educational, age and racial group opposes the plan, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN- uh-pe-ack) University Poll finds.

Under the new plan, their health insurance costs will go up, 42 percent of voters say, while 11 percent say they will go down and 37 percent say insurance costs will stay the same.

American voters approve 64 - 32 percent of the current law which prevents health insurance companies from raising premiums on people with pre-existing conditions.

Voters say 75 - 21 percent, including 59 - 34 percent among Republicans, that it's a "bad idea" to give states the ability to allow health insurance companies to raise rates on people with pre-existing conditions.

A total of 96 percent of voters say it's "very important" or "somewhat important" that health insurance be affordable for all Americans.

American voters disapprove 66 - 28 percent of the way President Donald Trump is handling health care.

20% is automatic. Anything lower is a negative number.
