Did you see her at the Selma bridge ceremony? She looks fantastic. Sitting back and laughing her ass off at trump is doing wonders for her.

To be clear, I'd much prefer she was sitting in the Oval Office aging at an increased rate due to the stress of the presidency.

Now that Pat Caddell is dead (February 16, 2019),

Did we know that??

Does this get added to the Clinton Death Count?

Here's the HRC podcast with David Plouffe. It was hard to find a link that worked on a desktop vs Apple phone, here it is:

HILLARY CLINTON SUGGESTS RUSSIA IS GROOMING CURRENT DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE TO RUN AS A THIRD PARTY NOMINEE
BY JAMES CROWLEY ON 10/18/19 AT 12:35 PM EDT

Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was a guest on David Plouffe's Campaign HQ podcast Thursday where she weighed in on possible Russian interference in the 2020 election. "They're also going to do third party again, and I'm not making any predictions but I think they've got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate. She's the favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far," the former Secretary of State said.

In an appearance on the Campaign HQ podcast, Hillary Clinton commented that Russians are "grooming" a Democratic candidate to run as a third party candidate in the 2020 election. Clinton went on to state that her fellow 2016 candidate Jill Stein was also in the election due to Russian involvement. "That's assuming Jill Stein will give it up, which she might not, because she's also a Russian asset. She's a Russian asset, totally. They know they can't win without a third party candidate, and I don't know who it's going to be, but I will guarantee that they will have a vigorous third party candidate in the key states that they most need it." Stein denied receiving support from the Russian government in 2017.

Earlier in the interview, Clinton commented on Russian activity in the election and insisted that Russian interference is ongoing. "We know from Trump officials, Dan Coats, who used to be the director of National Intelligence, being the most prominent, who literally went to the briefing room of the White House and said, 'The Russians are still in our election system.'" She also remarked, "We know there still are contacts with the Russians. We know these things. We have to assume, since it worked for them, why would they quit? Donald Trump is Vladimir Putin's dream."

Haven't listened yet but the Gabbard info doesn't seem like news, they've already shown that bots and Russians have been overwhelmingly been supporting her.

But her emails...

State Dept. finds no ‘systemic’ classified violation in Hillary Clinton private-server emails
A State Department investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email account found no widespread effort by her aides or other staffers to mishandle classified information.

The three-year-long investigation by State’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security concluded that 38 individuals committed a total of 91 security violations involving emails sent to or from Clinton’s private server.
However, a report on the probe finalized last month seemed to dismiss the notion that the system was routinely used to discuss matters that diplomats or Clinton aides knew required handling through secure channels.

“While there were some instances of classified information being inappropriately introduced into an unclassified system in furtherance of expedience, by and large, the individuals interviewed were aware of security policies and did their best to implement them in their operations,” the report said.

Meanwhile Donald & Co. are using private equipment for classified communications. Why aren't we hearing about that?

Jeffrey Toobin expresses regret over 'mistakes' in Clinton email coverage
New Yorker writer and CNN analyst breaks with media pack to express regret about coverage of Clinton’s emails.
By MICHAEL CALDERONE
10/21/2019 04:03 PM EDT

The New Yorker and CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin now says he devoted too much attention in 2016 to Hillary Clinton’s private email server, becoming the first big-name journalist to acknowledge having second thoughts about the story since a State Department probe cleared Clinton of serious breaches of rules on Friday. Toobin told POLITICO he has been flooded with responses since his surprise admission Monday morning on CNN. The feedback have largely fallen into two categories, he said: “Thank you for saying this” and “You’re a jerk, you shouldn't have done it in the first place.”

The conclusion on Friday of a nearly three-year State Department investigation into the Clinton email saga has reignited criticism among Democrats of the news media’s heavy coverage of the issue in the 2016 election. The claims that she had exposed classified secrets through her use of a private server dogged Clinton down to the final days of the campaign, when a surprise admission by then-FBI Director James Comey that the bureau was reopening its probe into the emails corresponded with a last-minute downturn in her polling numbers.

Nonetheless, the State Department found that there “was no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information” by any officials while Clinton was serving as secretary of state, a conclusion that Democrats quickly seized upon to bemoan the campaign coverage.

“Great job American Media!” Dan Pfeiffer, a former senior Obama adviser and “Pod Save America” co-host,” tweeted along with the news. “We spent an entire election on this inane story four years ago because a lot of otherwise intelligent people deemed it important,” Rolling Stone’s Jamil Smith tweeted. “Many of them still run media outlets today.”

Conspiracy theories aside, there were legitimate reasons to cover the e-mail controversy. Hillary's computer illiteracy being one of the first to come to mind. (For the sake of being fair and balanced, Trump is reportedly also unable to use a desktop PC).

Computer illiteracy is hardly an uncommon thing in her generation. Hell, today I offered to help a woman in her late 50s learn the very basics of how to use a computer. and she would be 15 years younger than HRC.

Thats why people have staff.

I must have missed the part where computer literacy in the +65 crowd was a key factor in the coverage of ButHerEmails.

I also missed it that HRC can't use a desktop computer.

https://qz.com/829647/donald-trump-and- ... computers/
This week’s episode of This American Life made the mind-boggling revelation that Hillary Clinton “doesn’t know how to use a personal computer.” So reported former Politico magazine editor Garrett Graff, whose forensic analysis of the FBI investigation into her emails draws a picture of woeful tech incompetence on the part of both Clinton and her campaign staff—and doesn’t quite align with the opposition’s portrayal of Clinton as a Machiavellian schemer using an detailed knowledge of technology to hide a litany of scheming.

Her inability to work a PC (and her then insistence on using one, very outdated model of Blackberry) was seemingly one of the drivers of the decision to use the much-bemoaned server in her basement for her emails.
And yes, it's not uncommon for people of that age but voters did have a right to know about it.

If you're saying planted stories to mean fake news, I gave you NYT as a source. The Washington Post reported the same thing:
State Department officials took pains to accommodate Hillary Clinton’s email practices as secretary, according to newly released testimony by a career agency official.

Clinton was offered a “stand-alone” computer near her office that would let her access the Internet without entering a password or logging into the department’s network as other employees are required to do, the official said.

The official, Lewis A. Lukens, executive director of Clinton’s executive secretariat from 2008 to 2011, said he was told the proposal was declined because Clinton was “not adept or not used to checking her emails on a desktop.” However, Lukens said, Clinton was “very comfortable” using a BlackBerry — even though she would have to leave her office to use the device due to security protocols.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... story.html

The whole reason the e-mail server came into being is as a way to accomodate Hillary's computer illiteracy according to her own staff. This was the defense to conspiracy theories by Fox et al. about the email server being a way to do evil things in secret.

Is that why Colin Powell used a private server as well?

I always thought it was because State Department IT systems were 15 years past their sell by date.

Just my arrogant observation, but I will mention that Clinton's server was apparently never hacked while the government* has been hacked multiple times. My brother, (retired FBI) has to monitor his profile for the rest of his life because of a Chinese hack. Still, he was furious at Clinton for using her own. Don't misunderstand, he voted for her, but the server thing really got his goat.

(No, that's not an excuse, just an observation.)

*also too, the DNC, the RNC, Lindsey Graham, John Podesta....
