Fear of Assassination, Left Wing Violence Lead GOP Lawmakers to Quit, Republican Congressman Says
The threat of assassination may be behind a series of Republican congressional retirements, said Alabama Representative Mo Brooks Friday.

In an interview on the Dale Jackson Show, Brooks said that a shooting at a congressional practise baseball game in June 2017 may have played a factor in the number of lawmakers quitting.

He also said the “socialist Bernie Sanders wing of society” was pushing for a revolution that would lead to Maoist level of violence.

“There are a growing number of leftists who believe the way to resolve this is not at the ballot box but through threats and sometimes through violence and assassinations,” he said.

I want to make another pitch to change the title to this thread. The Republicans dishonored here rarely act "normally." They do, however, act "typically" for what passes as a Republican these days.

Please change the title!

Deja, are they serious? They’re more likely to be trampled by marauding elephants than assasinated by a liberal Democrat, or assasinated by one of their own for insufficient allegiance to Dear Leader.

Just more projection by the right. Anything they think or do they attribute to their opponents, because they assume everyone else is as low as they themselves are.

I think Mo decided to compete for the title of "Dumbest Person in Congress Not Named Louie Gohmert."

A very interesting/ironic point that there are more crazy Republicans out there WITH guns than there EVER will be liberals/Democrats and they have far more to fear from their own camp than they ever will the opposition, as you point out.

I think that as thread starter, you can edit your first post. Change the title of the first post, and the title of the thread will change.

Rubio Campaign Volunteer and Ex-Florida Lawmaker Says Obama Looks Like a Monkey
Susan Goldstein previously served as a Florida state representative for western Broward County from 2004 to 2006. She's now a prominent figure in Tallahassee and serves on the board of the Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists. In 2016, she was Marco Rubio's presidential campaign chair in Broward.

And in 2018, she's apparently fine with announcing she thinks Barack Obama looks like a monkey, and she doesn't get why that comment is obviously racist.

After Roseanne Barr got her show canceled this past Tuesday for comparing a black woman to an ape, Goldstein decided to go on a public Facebook rant decrying what she feels is a "double standard" between liberals and conservatives. Why, she repeatedly asked online, are people not racist for comparing Donald Trump to an orangutan but racist when someone like Barr compares a black woman to an ape?

"And I truly think Obama resembles the Curious George cartoon, who I think is an adorable character," Goldstein wrote on Facebook. "Curious George that is. That is what my eyes see. And I am not racist, and there is not mean-spirited intent in my observation. But I can't say it. Double standard."

Why does kind of ignorant racist shit come so naturally for so many of these conserve ass wipes?

Republican endorsed in state House race declared bankruptcy

Very typical: financial mismanagement AND a criminal record:
The Republican-endorsed candidate for state House in a western Hennepin County (Minn.) district declared bankruptcy in 2010 with more than $1 million in liabilities and a significant lien placed on his property by the Internal Revenue Service.

Bradley Ganzer was endorsed at a district convention Monday in the race to replace former House Majority Leader Joyce Peppin, R-Rogers, who resigned her seat at the end of May. Should he be elected to the House, Ganzer said, “I want to make sure our local businesses have the ability to thrive, and that’s through less regulation and lower taxes.” He declined to specify which regulations should be eliminated or taxes reduced.

Ganzer was also convicted of burglary for an incident in 1992.

Arizona GOP calls on Rep. Stringer to resign over 'aren't enough white kids' comments

https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/po ... 703186002/
In a speech Monday at the Yavapai County Republican Men's Forum, Stringer said immigrants pose an "existential threat" that will change the face of Arizona and the United States.

He said the majority — 60 percent — of public school students in the state are now minorities, and expressed concern for this demographic shift in the decades ahead.

"That complicates racial integration because there aren't enough white kids to go around," Stringer said. "Immigration is politically destabilizing. President Trump has talked about this. I’m very concerned about this. Immigration today represents an existential threat to the United States."

Stringer could not immediately be reached for comment. He released a statement on his Facebook page in defense of his comments prior to the official calls for resignation.

JUST IN GOP Rep David Stringer of Prescott will make pilgrimage to Lolo’s Chicken & Waffles in PHX today to apologize for offensive remarks that led to rebuke by GOP leadership, all under auspices of Jarrett Maupin, 'following example of Jesus & MLK.' #12News

As far as we here at Lo-Lo’s are concerned, it doesn’t matter because one just ain’t the same without the other.

Our obsession with creating the juiciest, most flavorful fried chicken and the fluffiest, most melt-in- your-mouth waffles has, in turn, created something of an underground soul food revolution – one that’s slowly spreading downright deliciousness across the country.
He insults non-white immigrants and then goes to a soul food restaurant owned by an African-American to apologize.

(Shouldn't have looked at Lolo's menu. Now I am hungry. ;) )

If there aren't enough white kids to go around, maybe with its newly developed expertise our government should start kidnapping white children instead of brown kids. They don't even have to be immigrants - we could start with them despicable shoe-smuggling varmints from Canuckistan. That would cut down on smuggling the smaller size shoes, too also. I call that a win-win!

Free Viagra for white males?

Birth control free and legal for non-whites; illegal for whites?

Anti-miscegenation, since a child of mixed parentage isn't white?

Handmaids for white incels?

This won’t stop until 90% of Americans are mixed-race, and I only use that bankrupt term as shorthand for ethnic/genetic complexity.

It can’t happen soon enough.

Off Topic
In my post just above, I typed "mixed-race", which I hate, and started to add a mea culpa for the term, before changing to what I hoped would be the less offensive "mixed parentage"

Nope. Forced birthing by white women by outlawing abortion and birth control. This has been on the religious right's agenda for decades, and among themselves, they speak freely about the need to make more white women have more kids.
