Who knows what fantasies Trump might have about how he could use his tanks to destroy his enemies (his enemies, not enemies of the US!). He perhaps has some ideas from his great friend Kim's, ah, disposal of inconvenient relatives, acquaintances, followers, etc.
Junior, you and Eric go down to the end of East Executive Drive and tell me if I look good with the Anti-Aircraft Cannon.

I wonder if this is what pissed off Trump? Apparently Fox accidentally aired some folks in a bar chanting "Fuck Trump!" A minute later, someone says into the microphone: "Get that racist out of the White House!" :-D
Maybe. :rotflmao:
And I love the talking head announcer trying to perform a 'save' by saying they were supposed to air that broadcast from outside.

What was FoxNews doing there anyway? Soccer?

But who knows what gets his Depends in knot. Wasn't it Hilary who said he can be baited with tweet?
They went in to get USA USA chant that shows how much everyone loves 'Murica, also can be recycled for other propoganda.

However, my point stands. FoxNews viewers are not interested in futbol. Why were they even there?

Fox sports was the broadcaster of the games. It's all very incestuous.

Ed Henry was birfing at CNN in 2011 and got tossed, so of course he ended up at Faux News. He has been a total idiot with Hannity on the Operation Boomerang thing. Anyway, sad to say his sister has a liver issue. Ed is stepping up and donating part of his liver today. He really breaks down on Fox and Friends. Seriously, best of luck to them:

CNN’s Ed Henry Asks Jay Carney Birther Questions 1 Day After CNN Broadcasts ‘Definitive Investigation’
By Jason Linkins

On Monday, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney had to address the mind-numbing birther issue, because Franklin Graham had spit some birther nonsense on ABC’s This Week program the day before. Said Carney, “I would just say I think it’s unfortunate that a religious leader would choose Easter Sunday to make preposterous charges. And I’ll leave it at that.”

But you know who couldn’t leave it at that? CNN‘s terminally exhausting White House Correspondent Ed Henry, who decided that he would bring up the issue again at Tuesday’s White House Press Briefing. What makes Henry’s pursuit of this matter so demented, however, is that Monday night, his own network broadcast Anderson Cooper’s “definitive investigation” of the birther myth, in which the former director of the Hawaii Department of Health Dr. Chiyome Fukino stated unequivocally that Obama was “absolutely born here in the state of Hawaii.” And then Cooper spent the rest of his time beating up on Donald Trump for being an idiot about it.

At the briefing, Ed Henry asked Carney about the matter in such a way that you couldn’t really get a feel for whether he found his own network’s “definitive” reporting to be all that credible. He sure went out of his way to stick up for Donald Trump (because he is just so shiny!):

HENRY: Jay, my colleague, Gary Tuchman, just went to Hawaii and established again that there’s evidence suggesting that the President, in fact, was born in the United States. But as you know, Donald Trump persists, other critics, and last night Trump was on CNN saying that he’s been told the birth certificate is missing, that it’s either not there or has been taking out — taken out somehow, and this is a problem for the President. When the White House hears this continued claim, what does it say?

CARNEY: Well, Ed, I would say that we have a lot of problems confronting us. I think CNN recently did a highly credible piece on an established fact, which is that the President was born in the United States of America, and this was a settled issue. It is unfortunate that for whatever reason that instead of focusing on our economy, on our continued joblessness in this country, on the need to reduce our deficits and get our fiscal house in order, on the need for a clean energy — for an energy policy and for investments in clean energy technology, on the need for an education reform strategy that positions our children for the 21st century, on the challenges that face us internationally, that this is the subject of — that gets any kind of serious attention. I’ll leave it at that.

HENRY: Last question on that, though. As part of that CNN story you mentioned we noted that there is a certificate of live birth, which is considered in the state of Hawaii settled that he was born in the United States, period. However, Trump and others keep saying that that’s not the actual birth certificate, and as you know, Hawaii Department of Health says that you can request a birth certificate; you put in a Freedom of Information request, and within a few weeks you’ll get a copy out of the vault. Why doesn’t the President do that? Is it because you believe it’s a distraction from these other issues? Is it because he just thinks they’ll keep moving the goal post? Why?

CARNEY: Well, what do you think, Ed?

Tucker mentioned Ed and what's going on at his toss to Hannity, who is leading with Operation Boomerang. He quotes Natasha Bertrand's POLITICO report that Chris Steele was interviewed. Now he moves to his idiots, Sara Carter, John Solomon, Gregg Jarrett and other dopes to make shit up since Donald's usually watching. The captions is STEELE GRILLED BY DOJ INVESTIGATORS and the slide over his shoulder is INVESTIGATING THE INVESTIGATORS. He's been stuck on stupid all year, how can his audience be so dumb as to think anything new is happening? Amazing.

I've been looking for the link and will keep looking, but I saw this this morning. His sister has a Go Fund Me page to help her with bills while she is off work. I admire that he's giving up one part of his liver, but this didn't make him think any further about our messed-up health care system.

That said, I wish them both well.

Edited to add:

https://crooksandliars.com/2019/07/ed-h ... -liver-his
Yes, that's right. It's a GoFundMe set up by one of his sister's friends for the costs of recovery while she's unable to work.

And immediately, I think to myself that we have a walking, talking, high-profile argument for why universal health care and a social safety net for everyone is a necessity. You might be the sister of a guy who has a really high-profile job on a top-rated conservative news network which routinely calls universal healthcare (including the efforts of the ACA to get there) in any flavor "socialism," which goes on and on forever about "death panels" and whose hosts wonder how those "illegals" are taking all the care meant for white folks, and yet need a serious procedure which will apparently cost around $75,000 to recover from. That seems like a lot, quite honestly, and makes me wonder if part of it will cover her medical bills not covered by insurance.

Definitely an ugly day. And, yes, the fox viewers will eat it up.

I let a friendship of 50 years go over this kind of thing about a year ago. She voted for him, although she didn't particularly like him. But she listens to Limbaugh and watches faux noise exclusively, so I know she's in his camp.

Ex-'Fox & Friends' co-host leaves country amid legal scrutiny over real estate deals

Former "Fox & Friends" co-host Clayton Morris fled the U.S. while facing multiple lawsuits over real estate deals, the IndyStar reported Friday.

Morris, who previously resided in a $1.4 million home in New Jersey, has moved with his family to a coastal resort town Portugal, according a Facebook post from his wife.

Former MSNBC anchor Natali Morris told the IndyStar in an email that she and her husband plan to keep fighting the lawsuits from abroad.

Clayton Morris left Fox News in 2017 to become a real estate promoter with associate Bert Whalen of Oceanpointe Investments, based in Indianapolis.

The two men are alleged to have misled at least 35 buyers and renters on the true conditions of distressed properties. Morris used web-based seminars and YouTube videos to lure potential investors. <snip>

From the link above:
A confluence of protesters on opposite ends of the ideological spectrum merged on Portland’s waterfront Saturday in a tense but relatively uneventful face-off that brought national attention, including a tweet in the hours before the protest by President Trump decrying the city’s signature anti-fascist movement.
Gosh, I thought being anti-fascist was a good thing.
The Proud Boys put out a news release late Saturday afternoon saying they would return to Portland monthly unless Mayor Ted Wheeler “takes charge and removes the scourge of violent domestic terrorists from his city,” referring to antifa.
Thanks, Trump! :madguy:
At a 6 p.m news conference, Wheeler thanked police for what he described as a mostly nonviolent event. And he responded to Biggs by saying Portland supports the rights of people to “assemble and express their opinions.” He said Biggs’ efforts are costing the city millions and that, in a national culture of fear caused by hate crimes and mass shootings, Biggs is feeding that sense of fear.

I did watch a couple of short segments on F&F this morning. They were just huge over the Portland protests and the damage done by the ebil Antifa folks. Only at the very very end of both segments did they briefly mention that there were far right protesters protesting as well.

Alexi McCammond✔ @alexi
“My worst polls have been coming from Fox. There’s something going on with Fox, and I don’t like it,” President Trump says in NJ before heading back to DC. “Fox is making a big mistake because, you know, I’m the one who calls the shots” on the general election debates.
What's he going to do... ? Give all the debates to MSNBC? :smoking:
