In late breaking news, April the Giraffe cleaned her nose with her tongue. We now go live to CNN's situation room will discuss these latest developments.

Keep Wolf Blitzer out of there, he'll eat the story along with the scenery.

I do believe she's begun her labor. :?: In the past ten minutes or so she's been having major abdominal twitches or spasms. Also, the calf is moving inside her, she keeps licking her hindquarters, and she's arching her tail away from her body.

I've heard this bull before.

April is a feel good story, even though she might not feel well right now

She makes a good counterbalance to the usual dolts and slime featured in the Fogbow

Zookeeper just checked on April. They seem to have a nice rapport.

A few minutes ago April was getting a treat of romaine lettuce leaves.
