Just remember dogs are parachuted into the alps to help injured skiers...

However cats aren't stupid enough to let themselves get tossed out of a plane...

And the last job a cat held was god of Egypt...
"He sewed his eyes shut because he is afraid to see, He tries to tell me what I put inside of me
He's got the answers to ease my curiosity, He dreamed a god up and called it Christianity"

I love how Bruiser is all happy and wiggly at first, then dashes off and comes back more calmly, sitting lovingly with his long lost boy.

Good, so very good, dog, Bruiser.

President Joe Biden is setting the record straight regarding first dog Major's "biting incident" earlier this month.

During an interview with "Good Morning America" host George Stephanopoulos that aired Wednesday, Biden said Major "did not bite someone and penetrate the skin" elaborating that his dog was a "rescue pup" and is getting acclimated to his new home.

"You turn a corner, and there's two people you don't know at all," Biden said. "And he moves to protect. But he's a sweet dog. Eighty-five percent of the people there love him. He just — all he does is lick them and wag his tail."
https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertai ... 732037001/
Major is now learning dog etiquette while his Mom and Dad are traveling.

That's what I thought happened. My rescue didn't like strange/unknown men approaching me. He'd get between us and acted vicious. Snarling and barking. But he never attacked. If the man continued to approach me, Ted would push me away from the person. I would explain the situation and give people a treat for Ted and tell them to call him over while displaying the treat. Tell him to sit, tell him he's a good dog, and give him the treat. Then they become BFF.

It's dusty here in my house, too!

My first new puppy visit was today. I picked this one.
He stays with his mom until April 15 and then goes to puppy school until the 30th and then comes home.

I got to pick the dog, hubby gets to name it... Dunk he said... I said let's think that over.. I like Thurber over Dunk.. but Damnit, I just don't know.
He'll weigh 30-40 lbs. and is a generation F1B.
F1B Bernedoodle (75% Poodle, 25% Bernese Mountain Dog) is a cross in between an F1 Bernedoodle (50% Poodle and 50% Bernese Mountain Dog) and one of the original purebred lines– either a 100% Standard Poodle or 100% Bernese Mountain Dog. Usually, an F1B Bernedoodle is a cross between an F1 Bernedoodle as well as a 100% Poodle as breeders favor dog coat that doesn’t shed and is hypoallergenic. Because an F1B Bernedoodle is a mix between an F1 Bernedoodle and also a Poodle, it is described as a Backcross and thus the reason it’s called F1B.
