The Seim family cult seims nearly universal in their disdain for churches and organized religion.
They seim to prefer a cafeteria style christianity which allows them to interpret things as they please & pick/choose which parts of christianity they want to worship and which parts they choose to ignore.
Does anyone know if they ever attended a church and, if so, why they left?
Being in a church requires being in a community (the whole body of Chris thing). Being a member of a community involves giving up something to help the community. As Paul said, though eating meat (even from the sacrifice) he did not view as a sin anymore, but if it caused a fellow believer to falter and fail he would not eat meat again.

Sometimes you have to give up yourselves to build up others. That is not in their capacities, especially Gav.
That's an interesting observation considering Gavin's falling out with the Bundy crowd. My take on the disagreement was that the Bundy's and others in the group had some beliefs Gavin considered "incorrect". It is worth noting that after the disagreement arose Gavin started calling names rather than resolving the issue or even listening. Poo Poo Boy hardly talked at all about the nature of the disagreement. I think it was something about some in the Bundy crowd saying that there are some good cops.

I think the real root of the problem is that Gavin has little or no empathy for others or any desire to understand their lives and beliefs. Consequently, he has found cyber buddies only in those who completely agree with him.

Gavin's lack of empathy allows him to verbally abuse government officials, city clerks, prison staff and even tow truck company employees because he can't imagine that they are people with feelings. Gavin even manages to demonize all cops and fantasize about killing them.

The idea of Gavin working in a church to establish and budget or a mission statement is laughable.

There have been several instances where Gavin has been too extreme for the Bundy crowd, or even for the followers on his social media. When those people set up the fake jail protest in the desert near where the Bundy bros were incarcerated, I seem to recall reading here that many of their followers were upset by the protests and felt KK and Gav were coming off as deranged anarchists. He also regularly gets into it with a brother (IIRC) and the father of his wife, when they aren't extreme enough for him in their opinions.

I dreamed last night that I was in the USA. I have these often and each time I am rushing, unsure why on earth I am in such a place, but urgent to get out.

This time I stopped at the gun range and delayed a little because some old fans wanted to talk. Moments later the police rushed in calling my name in glee. I jumped over the rail, ran to my truck and escaped.

They never quite catch me in these dreams which I have had countless times. Sometimes I even have time to pick up my Amazon packages before leaving. But this time was too close!

Will you get out before it's too late?

I guess that might be a factor: some sovcits don't seem to understand that the world isn't simply Evil Them and Oppressed Us. In their binary misclassification, those of us who are not raging against the law and government are either complicit or in need of a good leader (step forward Gavin S.! Karl K.! John D.!) to light the way forward. Their struggles are our struggles, what heroes! :sarcasm:

Thanks. Wow, great crowd tonight! Thanks for coming out!

Then in his dream, as the police close in, Gavin reaches in his pocket for his car keys and realizes he was pickpocketed by a Mexican street tough.

That fits with the claim that Gavin was running from family protective services when he fled to Mexico. Seim had to know that the cops investigating his obstruction charge would turn over any relevant information to family services, especially if they have an active case.

It always seemed to me that his cop obstruction charge would get him a fine and big boost to his reputation. So why run on account of that?

Gavin is reduced to posting semi-porn videos of his quickly aging, chubby wife, hassling Mexican soldiers (who can't understand what he says) and posting youtubes about his dreams.

It's no wonder his attempts at selling the "be-like-Gavin" lifestyle aren't going well.

Dreams about getting in to legal trouble and being pursued by others are common and, like other anxiety dreams, are thought by many to alert the dreamer to a psychologically dangerous situation brought about by real life events that are equally frightening.

In Gavin's case, rather than refocus his anxiety into action, he imagines that the dream means he was smart to flee Washington. I suspect that, unable to make a living in a country where he barely speaks the language and can't use the banking system, Gavin is experiencing the same anxiety every other failure experiences.

I can't think of an example of less self-awareness than a 35 year-old who doesn't have a clue where his dreams come from.

Gavin's anxious about authority figures holding him accountable for something. He knows that the "something" is wrong and that's what bothers him. The dream keeps repeating because Gavvy can't or won't address the "something".

My guess is that the "something" is something really bad.

I also get the feeling that Gavin's terrible problem with authority figures is a demonstration of his fear that someday his account will be called due.

When you get your rocks off by verbally harassing DMV clerks and Mexican soldiers buying snacks at a food truck. . .it's time to get counseling.

First time in two years in Mexico a restaurant tried to get ID, to enter no less. They made up some dumb excuse. We laughed and left, reminding them in the review that we did not come to Mexico to experience with USA style crap. Mexico will not become the 4th world USA on my watch.

Certainly an inadequate with a messiah complex!

Ten million sombreros1 lift up to the sky, term million voices cry as one:
"¡Salvanos Don Gavino! ¡Usted es nuestra única esperanza!"2
__________
1 Or substitute pointless cultural stereotype of choice.
2 For non-Spanish speakers: "Save us Lord Gavin! You are out only hope!" For Spanish speakers: apologies if my scrap of high school Spanish has mangled your language.

One part of being free is the ability to participate in society. But poor Gavvy can't bank. Some restaurants won't serve him without ID and now some won't even let him in. Gavvy doesn't have ID because he doesn't have permanent or temporary residence status. And one has to ask what person fluent in Spanish wrote the review for Gavin?

Unable to deal with the reality that he can't function the real world Gavin's makes it all the fault of the evil authorities.

Sweet dreams, Gavin.

Perhaps they didn't ask for ID. They might have asked "Do you have a booking sir?" and Gavin misunderstood ('cos crap Spanish skillz) and flounced off.

Never underestimate the stupidity of poots.
