I see dudes flying drones at national parks all the time despite signs saying it’s not allowed. Has anyone gotten in trouble for it?

Good article by Tay Wiles about Foley/MLAM/Utah Gun Exchange etc. messing with a small AZ town and how the town is responding (paywall after 4 articles read in a month). Also mentions Sugar Pine, BR, MNWR etc.

All has gone quiet on this thread for some time.
Has the activity moved to another thread?
I thought there was a good deal of pending courtroom action on these idiots?
Just checking in... Hope everyone is well.

He also has a status conference April 17 in Pima County Superior Court on the felony trespassing/burglary charges at the ranch.

Thanks SO MUCH for the updates, peoples!
SLIGHTLY OFF-TOPIC: I miss some of the old Terry Trussell courtroom action videos, though the recent Alex Jones Deposition is quite an eyeful.

Best to all!

MLAM took a plea deal yesterday for the Agua Blanca trespassing/burglary charge. Pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor trespassing charge. Sentencing on May 16.

The bench trial for the State land trespass charge is now scheduled for May 7.

Next court appearances for the hospital and residential temper tantrums are still scheduled for April 24.

MLAM"s bench trial for state land trespass was supposed to be today but prosecution dropped the charge instead and trial didn't happen. They sure go easy on this lunatic.

MLAM sentence for the ranch trespass (pled guilty to the misdemeanor charge, felony charge was dropped) was 1 year probation and 50 hours of community service. He skates again.

I forgot to post this. MLAM's charges for having a fit in front of Rachel's house were dropped a few days ago.

What the?!?!?!?
This is certainly not going to deter anyone else from following this path.

I can only hope that the "Community Service" involves washing feet.

Sigh.

I’m a little angry that it took a year for them to charge him. The result of destroying the tanks, whether intentional or not, was that people crossing the border could die from dehydration. It’s not a mere property crime or vandalism. It’s an evil act and he should have been busted immediately.

I wonder if his probation required him to cease his activities, and he didn't comply. These are new incidents:
On July 12, deputies responded to a call about Meyer removing a water station from private property at a Three Points-area home, Allerton said.
This bramble need not be traversed.

Or, at a minimum, stop trespassing on private property.

Oh - he has also been moved to the infirmary. Drug withdrawal I guess (just a guess).

Whoever runs his page says he is on a hunger strike. I don't believe much in this post.
Update 8/12/19:
MICHAEL LEWIS ARTHUR MEYER has been in the Pima County jail since 8/5/19. Michael is on hunger strike (no food or water) in five days. For 2+ days, the guards had his water turned off in his cell, & Michael had no access to drinking water as the faucet is the only source. The guards laughed & found humor in the fact that Michael is dehydrated, has been denied a shower for 7 days, & no running water (faucet, toilet). Michael is currently in the infirmary & is rejecting all food & open lid drink items, as there is a Hepatitis outbreak in the jail.
The nurses notified his wife that he is on suicide watch, as he is not eating or hydrating. On 8/8/19, Michael filled out the form to release all his possessions (except clothing he wore on 8/5) to his wife. Today, his wife went to the property clerk & he told her they did not receive the form, & to call back tomorrow 8/13. Today, the correctional officers said Michael can be released at the jail at anytime by his probation officer. Michael has methodically met all probation conditions, which the public defender told the judge on 8/8.

Calls continue to be made this week by his advocates & family. If you are an experienced criminal attorney in Tucson, or you have a strong referral, please PM this page.
