Nelson Mandela adds to veracity of LFBC

In an interview with Ted Koppel from February 15, 1990, just shown this a.m., Nelson Mandela was speaking about the conditions he faced in prison in the decades he spent there and how the races were treated differently. Koppel asked about RACIAL discrimination being prevalent in the prison where he was held on Robben Island in South Africa. Mandela replied that whites and ______(couldn't understand what he said) were given the better food while Africans survived on lesser quality foods. He said they learned to tolerate it and did so in order to survive. This is just another example that lends credibility to the idea that President Obama's father filled out his son's birth certificate along with his mother while she was recovering from giving birth. The idea that someone from the Health Dept would change the term "African" to "Negro" is preposterous considering that not all citizens of Africa are black yet birthers are obviously unaware of that to this day. Whoever entered the info for the department of health from Obama's birth certificate had no way of knowing that Barack Obama, Sr. was black as African was not a common term in 1961 for blacks in the U.S. However, they also could not change it just because African was not usually a term they would see, so they appropriately coded it as "other". Common sense...a little goes a long way, too bad that birthers are sadly unfamiliar with the same. If this belongs somewhere else, please feel free to move it, just found it amusing that within a week or so, I've come across 2 different instances where the term African was used to clearly define blacks PRIOR to the advent of PBO's LFBC.

Mandela replied that whites and ______(couldn't understand what he said) were given the better food while Africans survived on lesser quality foods.Probably "Indians" meaning South Asian peoples from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, etc. There were quite a number of those in South Africa, mostly descended from slaves and indentured laborers. Even during apartheid, there was a Dept. of Indian Affairs and a South African Indian Council.

... and how does that make you feel?
What is it you're trying to say?

Or "coloreds," which was the term for mulattoes and darker-skinned non-Africans.
