Off Topic
January 17th is the correct date for the 125th anniversary of the illegal overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawai‘i. Although the overthrow was carried out by white citizens of Hawai‘i, it was made possible by an internationally wrongful act on the part of the United States of America, which had formally recognized Hawai‘i. The ambassador, who was a strong "manifest destiny" proponent, ordered the US Marines to protect the plantation owners who were carrying out the coup; this was the factor that resulted in the Queen abdicating to avoid bloodshed.

Funny :D

I had a look at his twit page. Apparently Laity has two and a half thousand followers... but no-one likes his tweets, no-one replies to any of them. He tweets all the time but its like no-one is listening.

I guess he couldn't afford more followers. :D

Irony can be pretty ironic sometimes.

As expected: Laity v. New York, SCOTUS Dkt. No. 17-1006:
Jan 17 2018 Petition for a writ of certiorari filed. (Response due February 20, 2018)
Another opportunity for SCOTUS to indirectly confirm Laity's greateness!

Laity (in his cert. pet.) wrote:Obama's purported Father was a British subject when Obama was born. His Birth certificate has been proven to be forged, in any event. This assertion is public knowledge substantiated by the former Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona, Joseph Arpaio, Cold Case Posse which released the findings of at least two independent forensic document examiners.

(In case there was any doubt that Laity's challenging of Cruz, Jindal, and Rubio wasn't really about Obama.)

I would guess it cost the nut job around $2000 to file. The docketing fee is $300 and printing fees are $1500 and up from what Cody Judy claimed when he was whining about the court rejection of his IFP status.

Maybe I missed something, there is a limit to the amount of purple prose I can digest, but didn't Laity commit the same sins of Judy and others before him? It looks to me like he basically just refiled his (losing)case with New York followed largely by "I'm smarter than they are and I'm right and you have to agree with me" explanation of why the case should be reviewed without actually coming up with anything to show why or how or give the USSC a reason to even look at his pile o' dung? He does prove that he is really good at misinterpreting prior cases and assuming rulings they didn't give, but that was unintentional.

That's basically the same thing I understood. He did use the word "globalist" so he has that going for him. Since the court will deny the petition, he will again proclaim that he won by way of the "FOAD means unrefuted truth" doctrine.

Laity is going about it all wrong. He needs to send a Praecipe to the SCOTUS, ordering them to obey. We know how well it worked for Heather Ann Tucci-Jarraf.

Is it too mean to suggest Laity might have been dropped on his head as a child? Because he still doesn't get Minor and puts it in writing, to the Supreme Court  as he put it, (9) years later

So here's his grand finale. Wouldn't it be great if a bell rang every time there was an incorrect statement?

Thinking about the $2K he spent... Foggy, you could offer that Fogbow would convene a Court of Bun Dogs for $100 and some Grand Slam Breakfasts, it would be the same result but we'd have a nice breakfast and Laity would save a lot of money. Laity if you're reading here consider it, if you don't take Foggy up we'll remember this and remind you you could have saved $1700 which for Tracy Fair is a lot of cigarettes and booze :P

Considering the number of factual errors in that pitiful effort the bell would shatter. He does parade his ignorance though for all to see.

It almost sounds like he is claiming his appeal should not have been denied because his appeal was a matter of right. In other words, since he is allowed to appeal, his appeal should have been upheld.

Oddly, he mentioned nothing about mootness. He would have saved some time and dough if he was capable of considering muteness.

Laity makes the same phony claim Apuzzo and other Birthers have made that their is an inherent right not to have their ballot tainted by an ineligible candidate. They have always been free to choose to vote for someone else. Even in 2008 where the final two major party candidates were Obama and McCain, whom Laity claims were ineligible, there were other candidates on he ballot and the choice of writing in someone else.

He also told the court this whopper:
His [Obama's] Birth certificate has been proven to be forged, in any event. This assertion is public knowledge substantiated by the former Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona, Joseph Arpaio, Cold Case Posse which released the findings of at least two independent forensic document examiners.
Nothing was released and at at least one of the examiners has publicly stated that is not what he found.

IIRC, some of the other courts have actual ruled that the "tainted ballot" theory does not confer standing.

Laity lives in Tonawanda, NY. That's not far from Love Canal and the biggest damned land fill on earth. I have been there - a real sh!t-hole. It is possible that Laity suffered brain damage from all the chemical seepage around him.

To the deadlist soon enough.
