It was great to see everyone!

No worries, Sugar. It’s nice that you’re making masks.

Oh its over? Darn, got the time change wrong.

Sorry folks, busy with important documents. Missed the festivities.

I listened in for a bit but was waiting for my dad to call so I just hung out. It was nice to put some faces and voices with the avatars though. :)

Sorry I missed it. I'm sick today. Not coronavirus sick. I have an earache with extreme ringing in that ear and everything sounds like I'm underwater. It's quite painful and annoying. See you next week!

Scirreeve, you can always join and not turn on your camera.

Next week, same time, same channel, I'll start a new thread when I get it set up (the link is different every week).
For more information, read it again.

I believe I dropped something about virtual ZOOM backgrounds somewhere (maybe in the previous weeks thread?)

Here some samples and a howto:

I'm less interested in virtual backgrounds than in a good "Botox filter" to shave ten years off my age. Any pointers?

Yeah, and Dr. Ken had a photo of Orly holding up her ebidenses! And a bunch of others, he changed backgrounds about eleventy times.

I stuck with a lovely beach scene, but I did wear my infamous hammer-and-sickle hat for a brief moment.

I had enough trouble just figuring out how to get logged onto the damn thing. Y'all will just have to deal with the piles of fabric and scraps.

I wish I only had piles of fabric and scraps lying around I feel like I'm wearing a wig of thread clippings. That crap is EVERYWHERE. It's like Easter basket grass.

Hopefully next time. A comrade has agreed to give me a quick lesson first.

My internet was glitchy and so I kept dropping out. But it was nice to finally see the actual human faces of some of you.

I need to find a tanning filter so I don’t look like I’m in a black and white movie. Casper is one of the nicknames my family calls me.

I also started switching hats throughout the zoom meeting. I have to dig around for my other hats.

Estiveo and Suranis are teddy bears. Stern is a badger.

Thank you Foggy for setting this up and getting me an invite. Haven't been posting much here lately, especially since retiring and moving down to San Diego. Hope to join you next week!

Stay safe and be well everyone!
