If you use gravatar, you need to re-enter the email address associated with your avatar in your profile. Apparently they didn't carry over.

Yeah all our avatars seem to have not made it for the move. You'll have to reupload.

... The New Features I'd like to see Implemented in the NewAndImprovedFogbow is

Rich Text Editing in posts. (E.g., so that you can bold without having to mouse click the bold, etc. - and add hyperlinks without working the url code)

It's available on php - see here: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... &t=2246576

(But I can't recall how to code a URL so ... )

This is great. Thank you Foggy :D

Hope you enjoy this (wow I can imbed a jpg as an attachment :geek: ). I was blessed to find this columbine nestled under a tree while surveying in the Foothills last week.

Ability to highlight text with a background color would be so superfantastic that I'm certain it would totally Save America® and Reclaim America® and Restore America® and Take Back America® and Make America Great Again®!

Seriously, though; in the grand scheme of life's genuinely important things this qualifies as the absolute LEAST of them.

Tried a few of these inside the posting box, which did not work, so said highlight function might also require help via some backend extension/script/thingamajig about which I have not an iota of a clue.

this text is highlighted
{TEXT}
your text
<span style="background-color: {COLOR};">{TEXT}</span>

A lot of this stuff is going to be here like it was before we went to that other forum software. If you'se all would hold your horsies, you'll see.

Go to the Board Index, click on the Mark all Read at the upperish right.
Edit: You can also mark a forum read, or a sub forum read. Much better that the OTHER software.

Howzabout a "go to bottom of page" button at the top of the page? Unless I'm just a bozo, I don't see one, and do quite a lot of finger-flicking on Mobile devices to get to the newest post. :|

Personally, I think when you pick the last page on a thread it would be more often useful to be taken to the bottom of that page automatically. :?:

I know what you are asking but isn't what the rectangle to the right of name of the last person who posted in a topic does?

Yeah, it is - and the rectangle at the beginning of a thread title that has new messages takes you to the first unread message in that thread.

I don't have that rectangle... at least not on iPhone.

That's it. Thanks a bunch! Should have known such a desirable function would already be there.

Something I remember from before is that the rectangle to the left of the user name in each post in a topic is the link you want to copy if you want to link to a particular post elsewhere on the Fogbow or another site altogether.

In the "system-that-shall-not-be-named" when one selected email notification, the email received contained the content of the message (or thread post).

Which is a VERY useful thing to someone who - often has difficulty getting on the site but can (nearly) always get email. (Like - someone subject to the GreatFirewallOfChina.)

The email notification here just tells one that something's been posted - but doesn't contain the content. Which doesn't really do me any good.

SO - feature I'd like to have is that WHEN "email notification" is selected, the email notification actually contains the new content ....

That'd be awesome.

You're correct. That column is not there in the mobile view. You only have the rectangle when there are unread posts There is an "End of Page" app for iPhones. Have you looked at that? You can use that if you select the last page and the go to end of page.

Do they not have one? Maybe see if they have a "karma" plug-in - they work in a similar way, but can add an extra thing to the user identification box on every post showing how much "kaema" the poster has earned. I'm really surprised no one's come up with a like button yet, though... that's just weird.
