I have a problem with TFB on mobile platforms: my fingers are too big. That was a benefit when I played the bassoon but is a problem for the digital age. Do the pens that various manufacturers sell help? (The $100 pen that Apple sells is too expensive unless it is notably the best )

Do you use the dictation feature favored by Patriots?

I have a dozen or more swag advertising pens with a stylus tip and they work perfectly well. You can also get them in a 2 pack at the Dollar Tree.

Whatever was causing the script issue seems to have crawled back under its rock.

Clicking on page 42 of the Rafael Edward "Felito" "Ted" Cruz eligibility thread automatically downloads a file of some sort onto my phone. This happens whether I click in from active topics or from a different page in the thread.

File name is 0_6fq3lhfc and has no description. I've just deleted it without opening, of course, but I thought I should mention it.

Just saw that Estivo, no idea why but it was a TMZ video of Felito,
http://www.tmz.com/videos/ [put space here] 0_6fq3lhfc

No idea why it wants to download it. Deleted it from the post but didn't check if other TMZ videos do this with PHPbb.

It's all the fault of that damn non-natural-born-ciizen Felito! If he had stayed in Canada he wouldn't be on TMZ and this never would have happened.

So with Twitter and Facebook.... On Firefox Quantum 57.0.4 (64-bit), only see the Tweet bird, no tweet. Have tried turning off NoScript, Ghostery and AdAware but still no. Logged into Twitter on other tabs. Have a Facebook blocker (blocks the tracking cookies which carry over on the posts) so understand that but nothing should be blocking Twitter. Anybody else having this issue? Makes me unsure whether to post the Twitter link or text or both. Maybe there's an update for social media and PHPbb for Firefox?

On Chrome no problem so I've been using it more for Fogbow.

I have a question about attaching pdf files. I understand that one is limited to a certain size of attachment. However, yesterday I tried to attach a five-page document and was told it was too large. I have attached dozens of other documents of much larger size, so I'm mystified.

Except for rare occasions, I see birds, birds and more birds. I've accepted the situation at this point. It be what it be. I see tweets on DU, not birds, but I don't have twitter in my heart, so I don't really give a shit if I see them or I don't.

I don't think the file size is determined by the number of pages but rather the format of the file.

But I could be wrong.

Yes, and some pdfs contain graphics, which are bigger than text. Lots of things impact the size of a pdf.

Thank you for answering. The document in question is a filing by Ryan Bundy, no graphics or anything like that, but rich in sovcitery, basically telling the Nevada judge to shove it. Musta been the yuuuge steaming pile of bullshit that made the file too big to attach.

Can you try re-saving it? Or saving it as Word or even text only? With the latter, it'll make it hard to read, but isn't it already hard to read? :-D

Windows 10 has an option called "Microsoft print to PDF". You might open the PDF in Adobe Reader then print to PDF using this option. Just choose File>Print. It will prompt you to give it a name and file location just like saving a file. I don't know whether it will compact the PDF file enough though.

That is a browser issue, not a Fogbow issue. I have 4 browsers on my Tab S2:

Chrome
Firefox
Samsung Browser
UC Browser (fastest and best, IMHO)

If one logs me out, I use another one.

(Oh, and the Roboform browser, but I don't use it much. Maybe one or two others.)

Just a hunch, and i don‘t expect any effect, to be true, try this:
Open your forum profile in the user Control Panel, there will be a submenu displayed with Manage remeber Me, click and then clear out the old items in the list.

I give up. What is UC Browser?

I'm sure its something obvious but it's been near or below zero for 3 weeks & I've given up thinking.

It's a small browser made by a Chinese company. It should be pretty easy to find on Google.

I just started having this problem with the twitter posts. Did you come up with an answer not involving Chrome?

I just started to have this problem on my notebook too a few days ago. Chrome browser standard v62 whatever.

Note for Foggy: In one case I did see that there was no access to github.com! Is the extension loading resources directly from its build source rather than having the whole package in one place, eg at the phpBB forum site?
