This post is from my phone, using Chrome. It logged me off about 30 minutes ago. It has been tossing me when I post.

I'm having a problem too, using an IPad. At first I was logged out when I went to a link. Now I'm sometimes randomly being logged out when I simply go back to Active Topics to look for another thread.

It may be slightly different on Windows; and on Windows, as on Linux, you may have to reenable or add on anew your current add ons. However, doing this clears up a ton of problems with slow-loading or never-ending-loading tabs and unwanted log-outs. I do it whenever Firefox starts acting up and it does the job, so I think it is worth the time and small effort. Also, if you don't see immediate results, try restarting your system.

My browser has been really slow and I thought it was my internet connection, but I did what you suggest and performance has improved a lot! Thanks for the hint!

I may have noticed something that triggers the logout. I did several tests, and when I click on "Active topics" at the top of the screen, I don't seem to get logged out. But when I click on "Active topics" at the bottom of the screen, I do get logged out. It was a small test, and may be a coincidence . . .

I take it back. I already have some inconsistent results.

When I fired up the Mac this morning it appeared I was logged in, but when I clicked "Board Index" the site logged me out.

We have a new member, an attorney who is against #revote2017, he joined up last night but hasn't gotten his login credentials yet. Could someone please admit him? His twitter and username he picked is @richzito. Thanks!

FYI, I have had no issues with being logged out in Chrome (windows 10) or Safari on my iPad (or even Chrome on my Samsung phone).

Gotta click the link in the email when you register. Which means you gotta use a working email address. But he's activated now. Lurkers take heed!

I'm reporting that my son brought a loathsome disease home from school, and I therefore have a cold. Or flu. Or sumpin'.

Not an issue with the site, but if anybody is running Malwarebytes and Chrome you may be getting a lot of false positives for outbound traffic to 239.255.255.250. Malwarebytes sent out an update this morning that blacklisted the IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority). Oops. They're working on it.

Same here. Still!!

But on both Safari (iPhone) and Firefox.

Getting really aggravating. Been going on for quite a while.

I just got hit with a sitelock notice when I tried to post in one of the forums.

I had emailed Admin that I couldn't login on my computer, but could on my phone. Ignore the email - now I can login. However, staying logged in has been a problem. Not a big problem, but I do have to login each time. I'll play with it a bit tonight and see what happens.

Might be just me but all of a sudden, in the lower left corner, now it just has "Board Index"... it used to have "Active Topics" and I used that all the time to get back to active topics. I'm using Firefox 51.0.1 with Win7. I can go back to the top of the page where it has it no problem but if the "Active Topics" link could be back at the bottom of the page it would save time. Thanks!

OK, that's weird because I didn't do anything. But if it happens again, use the "hamburger" - the three horizontal lines thingy. That usually has a link to Active Topics, but it's an extra click.

I'm on W7.1 Firefox 52.0, and the bottom left still displays Active Topics. Orlylicious, if you feel like it, you might want to try the usual troubleshooting - clear history/cache and cookies, update Firefox. If that still doesn't solve it, disable your Firefox add-ons/extensions (if any). If disabling the add-ons fixes it, re-enable each add-on one at a time until you find the one that's giving you grief.
