Reps. Mike Kelly (R-PA) and Joe Cunningham (D-SC) have tested positive for COVID19.

I heard Cunningham on MSNBC. He feels fine, doesn't have a fever, but can't smell or taste. That plus having contact with a Rep with COVID19 got him tested.
Sekrit Stuffs!
I'm pissed off about that. The big thing my doctor noticed when I saw her was that I'd dropped 6-7 pounds in a week. I told her that I just had no interested in eating. Now I've had no fever for 10 days, but I'm still very weak and struggling to eat because it's like eating paper. I just ground coffee beans. The smell usually fills the kitchen. I can barely smell anything even close up. Coffee has some sort of taste, but not like fresh brewed cup should taste. I'm not even sure it is coffee. Except I made it. :-?

No coughing or sneezing, so I hope I'm not spreading it. Not that I'm around anyone, so that's good. But Cunningham said he was told that he could be contagious for a month, so I'm sending an email to my doc today.

Dominic Cummings in isolation as pressure mounts over NHS testing
Coronavirus outbreak at heart of government worsens

Francis Elliott, Political Editor |Chris Smyth, Whitehall Editor
Monday March 30 2020, 12.00pm BST, The Times

Dominic Cummings is the latest senior Downing Street figure to show symptoms of a coronavirus infection.

Downing Street sources confirmed that Boris Johnson’s most senior adviser was self-isolating at home after developing symptoms at the weekend. It was reported that he remained “in touch” with others in No 10.

It is not known whether Mr Cummings has been tested. The prime minister tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday night and has been in isolation at No 11 since. Matt Hancock, the health secretary, is also infected and Chris Whitty, the chief medical officer for England, is self-isolating with symptoms.

Mr Cummings’s suspected infection will renew concerns that social distancing was flouted at No 10 and at Westminster more generally.

One day after John Prine’s family announced that the singer-songwriter had been hospitalized and intubated after experiencing a sudden onset of COVID-19 symptoms, his wife, Fiona Whelan Prine, provided an update on her husband’s condition.

“He is stable,” she wrote on Twitter Monday. “Please continue to send your amazing love and prayers.” Reached for comment, a rep for John Prine clarified that the singer “remains in the ICU and is stable on the respirator.” Prine’s rep confirmed that the musician tested positive for the coronavirus.

UK's Prince Charles, 71, Out of Self-Isolation and in Good Health
By Reuters
March 30, 2020

LONDON — British heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles, who had tested positive for coronavirus, is out of self-isolation after seven days and is in good health, his spokesman said on Monday.

Last week, his Clarence House office revealed that Charles, 71, had been tested after displaying mild symptoms of the virus and had been in self-isolation at his Birkhall home in Scotland where he had continued to work.

After consultation with his doctor, he is now out of self-isolation, Clarence House said. He will resume meetings and take exercise in accordance with government and medical guidelines.

President Cuomo is on live. He announced his brother, Chris Cuomo of CNN, has tested positive. Chris is quarantined at home. Andrew is using the story to tell how his mother was going stir crazy and Chris had mom at his house two weeks ago. He says Chris is strong and fit and will get through this, but it would've been a different story if mom had been infected. Message: don't let being stir crazy put your life in danger.

WWL-TV
Ellis Marsalis, jazz master and musical family patriarch, dies at 85

Marsalis had been hospitalized and tested for COVID-19, according to a family member

NEW ORLEANS — Ellis Marsalis, the patriarch of a New Orleans musical family, known for his brand of modern jazz as well as for educating generations of musicians as a teacher, has died, according to a family member. He was 85.

Marsalis had been hospitalized and was tested for coronavirus, but the result was not available Wednesday, the family member told WWL-TV anchor Eric Paulsen.

Marsalis is the father of internationally-known jazz musicians Branford, Wynton, Delfeayo and Jason Marsalis. Two other sons, Ellis III and Mboya, did not follow their father into music.

In December, Marsalis retired from his regular gig at Snug Harbor, where he had performed each week for more than 30 years. But he vowed to return as a special guest, accompanying other performers, including his son Jason.

Ali Wentworth, comedian and wife of George Stephanopoulos, tests positive for COVID-19

https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertai ... 109900002/
"I have tested positive for the Corona Virus. I’ve never been sicker. High fever. Horrific body aches. Heavy chest. I’m quarantined from my family."

She accompanied her health update with a solemn picture of herself lying in bed while sick, describing her battle with coronavirus as "pure misery."

Earlier Wednesday, Stephanopoulos revealed on "Good Morning America" that he would broadcast from home after Wentworth "developed some symptoms" consistent with COVID-19, although he didn't confirm whether she had the virus or not.

Very sad to hear about the elder Marsalis...

I don't think this has been mentioned, but he was maybe the first prominent performer or actor to pass:
Ken Shimura, famed Japanese comedian, dead at 70 after contracting coronavirus
Famed Japanese comedian Ken Shimura has died after contracting novel coronavirus, according to his representatives.

Shimura suffered pneumonia-like symptoms and passed away on Sunday night, his agency, Izawa Office, told CNN.
He reported symptoms, including fatigue, on March 17 and was hospitalized on March 20 with severe pneumonia before testing positive for coronavirus on March 23.
Shimura is likely to be deeply mourned in Japan. He has been described as "Japan's Robin Williams," with the country's television networks heavily covering his death.

Alan Merrill, who wrote the Joan Jett anthem “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” died Sunday morning of COVID-19. His wife Joanna posted the following nightmarish account on her stepdaughter Laura Merrill’s Facebook page and encouraged people to share it, so that they could understand just how horrible this thing is. She wanted as many people as possible to see it, so I am reprinting it here.

Initially I didn't think I could bear to burden everyone on FB with the announcement of my husband's death. But since it is now out there, I'd like to say something about the awful truth about the treatment of the virus in a respected hospital, in NYC, in this COUNTRY.

Since I have posted this story many people have asked if they could share to let people know. Yes, please do, I would like as many people as possible to take precautions.

About 2 weeks ago, Alan felt like he was getting a cold and then the flu. I was immediately suspicious, and of course Alan being Alan, he told me I was getting hysterical for no reason. I nonetheless researched about what to do if you get the Cornavirus. Every article I read said that there is no help available unless you have severe symptoms -can't breathe or you chest really hurts. Otherwise the hospital will not admit you or test you for Covid-19. And this was absolutely true.
It goes on.

Chilling account.
