Rep. Lizzie Fletcher was tested for COVID-19 Thursday and is self-quarantining until she receives the result, her office says. Fletcher "sought professional medical treatment out of an abundance of caution" after experiencing flu-like symptoms and a temperature above 101 degrees.
 She's my Congresswoman. Newly elected and ousted a back bencher birther who did nothing for the district for 14 years. I hope she comes through this.

This tool was not really a prominent person, but he had a big mouth and went to New Orleans on a "Mission Trip" to save the City from sin and debauchery:

My COVID-19 test came back negative, which is a relief. I am still staying home, because I have symptoms and need to recover; this means I will not be able to travel to Washington, DC to vote.

Trump is known as a germaphobe who screams for "the stuff" to sanitise his hands every time he gets into the Royal Car.

Which is why I never bought the BS about him not getting tested. He gets tested every day.

:yeah:
Exactly. Except he may have found the current test too invasive to repeat. He may be waiting for the easier test and forcing super strict precautions in the meantime. Has he been out of the White House? No. I saw a report the other day that he was going to go tour one of the hospital ships that are going to NY and LA. But I saw no photo op.

Sadly, I fear he is doomed too also. His mother is not a positive influence. She doesn't care, do U?

USA Today: Veteran political strategist, a Joe Biden confidant, had COVID-19 when he died, family says

BOSTON – Larry Rasky, a prominent public relations executive and longtime Democratic consultant from Boston, who was a political confidant of former Vice President Joe Biden, tested positive for the coronavirus virus posthumously after dying Sunday.

A cause of death was not announced when he died, but his son, Will Rasky, confirmed he had coronavirus in a statement Friday.

Another UK Cabinet Member Has COVID-19 Symptoms

https://www.usnews.com/news/world/artic ... 9-symptoms
Scottish Secretary Alister Jack said he had symptoms of the disease and was self-isolating a day after the prime minister and Britain's health secretary revealed they tested positive for the virus and were experiencing mild symptoms.

Johnson. 55. is the highest-profile political leader to have contracted the virus. Jack sat beside him in the House of Commons on Wednesday before Parliament shut down until at least April 21 to reduce the risk of infections.

Business Secretrary Alok Sharma said Johnson continues to show only "mild symptoms" of coronavirus.

“He continues to lead the government's effort in combating Covid-19,'' Sharma told reporters, "This morning he held a video conference call and he will continue to lead right from the front on this.

I’m doing worlds better than … when I was unconscious and intubated, having a machine breathe for me because I couldn’t do so myself,” wrote Lat, 44, in a 6-paragraph public post on his Facebook page that appeared Saturday night.

Must've been the 2 days he was on the miracle hydoxychloroquine + Z pack compassionate use. Seriously, I have been following what info I could find on David's progress and I read he was given this medication for 2 days, then they took him off and used a third and unrelated medication. So, we won't know the efficacy in his case. It's great to read he is off the ventilator and doing better. Maybe the actual trials they are running in NY (with that scientific thing called a control group) will tell us more. But Lat's news is good news.
