SMACKDOWN! Hollister v. Soetoro

I noticed when good old PRD posted the schedule of the case, he didn't exactly post the entire ruling by Judge Robertson. Typical misleading of the folks over there. Wouldn't want them to question why the judge wants an open court hearing, now would we? 02/04/2009 10 ORDER denying plaintiff's motio...

I think since she is deceased, they can give info. But, what info are they looking for? I mean the only thing they'll have is date issued, dates re-certified. As far as I know, they don't keep track of where and when you travel. I've never seen anyone copy my passport info down, they just look at i...

So just how could Phil Berg obtain any information, including the lack of an American passport, through the FOIA act if the FOIA requested government agencies specifically will not process any request for Obama's records? That one's easy. Phil was an assistant AG, ya know. With all that influence an...

hat seems to be a pattern for him - screw up the case royally, lose, then appeal. It almost seems that he doesn't put forth any effort until the appeal. His appeal docs leave quite a bit to be desired, as well!

SMACKDOWN! Hollister v. Soetoro

"Supposedly" Andy Martin filed a disciplinary complaint against Berg fairly recently. He posted the document on his website. The complaint would not show as a disciplinary action itself, only if action had been taken by the board. At least where I reside, the D Board does not exactly move very swift...

SMACKDOWN! Hollister v. Soetoro

This decision was issued on December 11, 2008, and is just one more case in which Berg/Berg's client lost and they both face sanctions for their behavior in the conduct of the litigation. As usual, that conduct seems to include a complete disregard of the rules of discovery and proper pleading prac...

but I wonder if Berg has figured out some sort of loophole where the people donating aren't actually clientsContrary to what many/most of them seem to believe, no they are not his clients, and he, therefore, has no "legal" obligation to disclose the "them" how their donations are spent.Frankly, the...

That's creative. Prob'ly read it on Orly's site tomorrow ...Creative, yes. It does seem to ignore that "little fact" that you can't sue a sitting POTUS for acts directly related to carrying out his official duties. I'm sure Orly will set them straight right away!!!

So, if the 3rd court doesn't agree to hear oral arguments, Berg can go to the USSC? And if the 3rd court hears oral arguments but denies Berg's appeal, Berg can go to the USSC? And if Berg's case is approved by the 3rd court, the case goes back to the lower court?Yep, you got it! And thanks for the...

2) If the case is not referred to the court for oral arguments, is the case dead? Can Berg appeal the 3rd court's decision to not hear the case? It also looks like this process take a long time. So, if I understand this correctly, this may take some time for the court to even decide to hear oral arguments, and if they do so, it sounds like it take a while for oral arguments to be sceduled. Essentially, if the 3rd court of appeals agrees to ...
