SMACKDOWN! Hollister v. Soetoro

slamdunk wroteOK, thanks for your straight and honest answer. I was not aware that Berg cut anything off the tape. What are you referring to?...you can go here and there is a link where you can listen to the entire tape without the editing. [/break1]typepad.com/whats_your_evidence/2008/09/was-obama...

SMACKDOWN! Hollister v. Soetoro

Tes Wrote..Given Robertson's … general impatience with "frivolous" and "fantastical" complaints filed by pro se plaintiffs, one can understand, I think, his even greater impatience upon seeing a similarly "creative" complaint filed by a lawyer. Again – it has nothing to do with politics. It has not...

And as far as the donations and what Berg's doing with them ... didn't Linda post somewhere that Phil and Lisa had to go to Kenya to rescue Kweli Shuhubia from Odinga's death squads? I'm sure I read that, but I can't remember where. That prob'ly cost some money ...I remember her saying they had to ...

but I wonder if Berg has figured out some sort of loophole where the people donating aren't actually clientsContrary to what many/most of them seem to believe, no they are not his clients, and he, therefore, has no "legal" obligation to disclose the "them" how their donations are spent.Frankly, the...

That's creative. Prob'ly read it on Orly's site tomorrow ...Creative, yes. It does seem to ignore that "little fact" that you can't sue a sitting POTUS for acts directly related to carrying out his official duties. I'm sure Orly will set them straight right away!!!

BERG v OBAMA (ORIG) - II - DISCUSSION (3rd. Cir. & U.S.)

So, if the 3rd court doesn't agree to hear oral arguments, Berg can go to the USSC? And if the 3rd court hears oral arguments but denies Berg's appeal, Berg can go to the USSC? And if Berg's case is approved by the 3rd court, the case goes back to the lower court?Yep, you got it! And thanks for the...

BERG v OBAMA (ORIG) - II - DISCUSSION (3rd. Cir. & U.S.)

2) If the case is not referred to the court for oral arguments, is the case dead? Can Berg appeal the 3rd court's decision to not hear the case? If so, to which court would this appeal go to?3) If oral arguments are heard and the 3rd court rules against Berg, is that the decision that allows Berg t...

BERG v OBAMA (ORIG) - II - DISCUSSION (3rd. Cir. & U.S.)

It also looks like this process take a long time. So, if I understand this correctly, this may take some time for the court to even decide to hear oral arguments, and if they do so, it sounds like it take a while for oral arguments to be sceduled. Essentially, if the 3rd court of appeals agrees to ...

They seem to believe, by simply reading the word "merits" that the 3rd Circuit is actually preparing to hear Berg's case on the merits. LOLActually I'd love nothing more than to see that happen. kWhile I understand what you are saying, do you really believe once the court heard his nonsense that it...

BERG v OBAMA (ORIG) - II - DISCUSSION (3rd. Cir. & U.S.)

I just looked very quickly at the post at OC and not the original docket but it looks to me that the FEC's motion for summary affirmance is what was referred to the merits panel, NOT Berg's appeal. It looks like Berg will probably strike out again. That was my take, with a cursory review, also. I ju...

Foggy, I'd bet on at least some review in CA. In my state you must first go before a panel of three doctors and three lawyers before you can file. I think "most" states have some type of review process prior to filing.

I do ask that you do not bash LisaI don't see anything here as "bashing" Lisa. Do you not see the dichotomy here?
