Maybe Larry will get the same courtesy.
I'd rather see him buried up to his neck in a pit of nightsoil.

Re: CHRISTOPHER BRUCE: The Mighty Spork

The Living Spork had his first appearance today. It must not have gone well as the judge set his bail to $25,000 cash bond. https://www.keloland.com/news/local-news/man-accused-of-stalking-sioux-falls-mayor-paul-tenhaken/2061223093 From the article: "Bruce said he didn't understand charges aga...

Re: Roy Moore - FORMER AL Supreme Court Chief Justice

I infer Klayman's next step is filing a losing appeal in the D.C. Cir. While stringing S.D.N.Y., a jurisdiction to which he is not admitted, along. An order transferring a case to another district is not a final order and hence not appealable. He will either file a Notice of Appeal anyway (and have...

Re: AsystBio LLC case

Slarti, I have not attacked you. I have said only that you shouldn't post this stuff on a public forum. Everything you post here will be discoverable in litigation, and some of your statements will be twisted by the other side to make you look entitled and arrogant. Juries don't like entitled and a...

Re: Israel

A little background: in Israel, every party gets seats in the Knesset (Parliament) proportional to its share of the vote. So there are a multitude of parties, and every government in Israel's history has been a coalition. After the last election, it seemed like Netanyahu would have an easy time form...

Re: Orly's latest poopies.....

Those cabinets are horrible! Hate the chairs, the microwave enclosure looks terrible, it's so old and bulky. That industrial counter top is what they use at our pool. What poor design choices. Poor imagination and clearly lots of bad feng shui is there. With all the things we can bash Orly fo...

:brokenheart: Chloedoodle and fambly. Chloe Doodle died today, aged 13 years and 15 days. She seemed to be doing well for an old dog, but then she declined very fast. Which, I guess, is better than declining slowly. And she had a good, long life. But it still hurts. :crying: Thank you all for being...

Two plaintiffs are in one state while a third is in another. The defendants are all headquartered in separate states yet none are in the state where the plaintiff's are. This is shown in the section on Party's. Where is a corporation a "citizen"? I did not go into where the defendants ope...

Can you tell me what flaw? Again, I cannot give you legal advice. But, from the face of the draft complaint, diversity of citizenship jurisdiction is certainly not properly alleged, and quite possibly doesn't exist at all. But this is just one example. There are a lot of procedural hurdles a case h...

You need a lawyer. I am a lawyer, but I am not your lawyer. I cannot give you legal advice-- only someone who could speak to you in confidence to learn all the facts could do that. Having said that, I will tell you that going to court without a lawyer in anything more momentous than a small claims c...

We don't keep kosher, but we did do an (abbreviated) Seder, and both doodles ate some matzo (which they liked better than the humans did-- maybe because matzo tastes like dog cookies?)

Thank you. She's getting deaf, and sometimes is a little short of energy these days, but 13 is not young for a 55-pound labradoodle. All in all, she's doing very well.

I tried a case that lasted the entire month of February. It was a court, not jury, trial, and we are still waiting for a verdict.
