But seriously, someone pick a time. :bounce:
I think it will have to be Foggy who does that. He'll have to get up to speed on what it takes to host a Zoom get together, so Foggy, what do you think makes sense?
Why only foggy? Anyone can set one up.

Re: Plane Crash - Jet Crash

I don't understand all the technical stuff, but this was my brother's (Eaton Aerospace) comment about it. When I flew on Aluminum Overcast, the EAA’s B-17, my conversations with the crew made it pretty clear that they considered the Collings Foundation’s “909” pretty much a bucket of bolts that wasn...

Y'all might have to look at my cat sleeping if I join in. There is very little I dislike more than having photos taken or being on camera.

Re: New Diseases - Coronavirus

That suggests a significant fraction of those victims were people who might have soon succumbed to any passing serious infection or random accident. Many would be in poor health; all the top half would have had age-related deterioration of their immune systems. Not necessarily. If it's like it is h...

Re: Coronavirus: Health Care Industry

While Illinois Governor Pritzger gets good marks for his response to the pandemic so far... His call for retire health care professionals to return to work is insane. My 82 year old retired nurse mother-in-law is NOT going back to work. She's at risk as it is as her daughter, an ER nurse lives with...

Re: Coronavirus: Health Care Industry

I heard earlier today that the teenager in LA who died was turned away from the hospital because he didn't have insurance. I'll see if I can find a link again. I read that too. He went to a clinic who said he had to go to an ER because he didn't have insurance. He coded in the ambulance, was brough...

For tenants there's a process. Called an eviction or unlawful detainer action. And the courts are closed.
Not in MS they aren't. Constitutional law and all.

Re: On a Personal Level--Coronavirus COVID-19 Cancellations, etc.

NE Wisconsin is definitely undercounted as far as cases are concerned. Officially, Brown County (population approximately 250,000) has only had 6 confirmed positives, yet we just had a story yesterday on local news about how one city's fire department EMTs are transporting 2 suspected cases every s...

Re: Fogbow Arts and Crafts Club

We had a cat who LOVED hair ties. She could gather up a dozen when I couldn't find a single one, and more than once she woke me up trying to get one out of my hair. She would bring them home from who knows where when she was outside. When she died, I put one in the hole with her. I loved that cat.

Re: Fogbow Arts and Crafts Club

The ponytail holders work fine as long as they go around your ear and the mask extends all the way to the front of your ear. Some hospitals have requested the ponytail holders specifically and the nurses are sewing buttons on their caps to hold them instead of their ears. They are apparently having ...

Re: Fogbow Arts and Crafts Club

Another adaptation I've been working on this morning is using strips of t-shirt in place of the elastic. I'm working on masks for the police officers right now and the ties aren't really convenient for them but all I have is white elastic and that looks awful on the black and blue masks. They can gr...

What about non-drivers?
They have to walk.
But which day?
All of them. You can just point to any random car in the lot and say "that one's mine."

Puerto Rico lockdown plus curfew extended to April 12. Grocery stores and some other things closed Sunday, used to stay open. Cars with even numbered plates and odd numbered plates can go to the grocery store/pharmacy on alternating days. And curfew starts at 7 instead of 9 pm. What about non-drive...

Turns out I just had a bad case of allergies so I'm back to sewing. Running out of ribbon so I have to break down and make my own ties. Pray for me. My sewing skills aren't what they used to be. Strips 1" wide width of fabric. Press in half like bias. Edge of mask goes in fold, short, narrow zigzag...

Religious groups are still covered by the county order but if they cheat in League City no one is going to do anything about it. Our idiot governor went the other way by declaring religious groups essential. That means that as long as you don't live in a city or county that tightened the restrictio...

A friend's brother in law died the Wednesday before our first case was reported on Friday. High fever, 'belt around the chest' feeling, shortness of breath....all the classic symptoms. They initially diagnosed pneumonia and sent him home. Back to the hospital by ambulance 3 days later, put on a vent...

Re: On a Personal Level--Coronavirus COVID-19 Cancellations, etc.

A question. While inventorying my toilet paper supply I found a full bottle of rubbing alcohol under my sink in the master bath. There was an expiration date on the bottle - November 2016. What expired? It still seems potent. That is a debate that I have with my spouse all the time. IDK the answer ...

People in my neighborhood are putting teddy bears in the windows of their homes, and when parents take their kids out to walk, they go on "teddy bear hunts" to see how many they can find.

Re: On a Personal Level--Coronavirus COVID-19 Cancellations, etc.

So now my cancer-patient son is in quarantine for 2 weeks. I don't actually have a lot of details because he pretty much stopped talking to me Monday after I blew up at him when he told me a group of 14 of them were pissed because they tried to go out to karaoke the night before and the bar was clos...
