Re: A Different Future

I too think the break up is underway. The various coalitions that have sprung up: New England + NY + NJ; Californai + Oregon and Washington (I'm leaving out a few). They're working together (rather than competing) to get medical supplies and coordinating their openings and restrictions. (How sane.) ...

Re: USA v Michael T. Flynn; USDC for DC; False Statements to FBI; Guilty Plea

Frank Figliuzi, JD, former AD for counterintelligence at the FBI, on MSNBC, says that the judge will have no choice but to drop the charges and let Flynn go. Re: A Different Future

The "when will they turn" question boils down to a tipping point. Are we close to the tipping point? Is there a tipping point or not? My sense is that even with a tipping point, the corruption is our system and the rot in our society are so great that we will most certainly fall as a nation. That's ...

No, Fauci wasn't quarantining. He said he would work from home primarily, but come to the White House when needed.

:yeah: Alt-Amerika no longer shares space with Objective Reality America. It's a figure eight Venn diagram. I've had two friends become conspiracy theorists this week. Just like that. Spending a nanosecond "trying to get into T****'s head is the trap. You don't stop a murder in progress by studying the murderer's brain.

Re: Oversight Committees: Hearing Thurs May 14th; Dr. Rick Bright Re Political Purge / Coronavirus Fed Response

I think he was a fabulous witness. Never rattled, never combative...the Mr. Rogers of scientists and public health officials. I listened in the car. He has a very reassuring and gentle voice. Why were all the republicans "reserving" their time. By the time I got back in the car, it was over. [/b] B...

Re: Opening up is hard to do.

It makes perfect sense: Force companies and institutions to open, so that employees and workers will be at risk of preventable illness and death; protect companies and institutions from the legal repercussions of opening up too soon and causing preventable illness and death. The third leg of this to...

Meant to post his a while ago. Harris was on Morning Joe and, when asked if she is being vetted, said she didn't want to talk about her conversations with Joe. Cute smile. When asked if she was interested, she dodged again. Big grin. It was clear to me, as a total fan-girl of facial expression readi...

We just got enough people over the weekend to have the app go live Lee County. It's bouncing betting 1.0 and 1.2 percent. :( I'm hoping that's due to the still small sample size.
