That's what Bristol and Willow are for, and Track too when he isn't threatening to shoot himself. Bristol has her hands full with Tripp and the new baby. Willow is now 21, and there's beer to be consumed. Anchorage TV said he was at the Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. - http://www.matsuregional.com...

Re: Bundy Trials - Oregon

It's gag inducing, all right, but I think it might also be effective. Particularly if the government responds with something along the lines of the last Santilli detention memo. Agreed. But the kitchen sink the Government threw at Santilli seems to have worked. True, but there may be enough of a di...

Our red tabby, George, is, sadly, very fond of Oregon juncos.

Patagoniagirl, I think your hummingbird might be a Garden Emerald. You had at least one Flame-colored Tanager in the first video.

St Sarah was supposed to do an event for Trump at The Villages Florida today but cancelled with no reason given. Then she announced she has to rush back to Alaska, seems Todd Palin crashed his snow machine last night and is in intensive care. Nothing in local media about it so far. And yet there sh...

Here are some backyard birds. Skip forward to 1:40 seconds or so. The Blue-Grey Tanagers are the most common, but a couple of real colorful tangers pop in as well. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=a1CCEJLWduM I cannot embed. Don't have the youtube app or the brains. Re: Fogbow Birdwatchers Club

There are several birds which we would hear, but have never seen. The farm is heavily forested and situated next to La Amistad International Wildlife Preserve. The unseen birds were identified as a Three-Wattled Bell Bird (sounds like someone striking a tire iron on a big piece of hollow metal), a ...

Re: SovCits forcibly occupy Malheur Wildlife Refuge

This is happening at the height of the birding season just a week before the The Harney County Migratory Bird Festival (April 8,9 & 10) which looks to be a sellout. http://www.migratorybirdfestival.com/ Due to the overwhelming response this year, there are few tours left . This year the birders are...

Oops, my mistake about the location--the trip is for Knowles Island, South Carolina, not North.

That bald-headed rooster is a rare sighting, though, so I may have to make room in my schedule for a trip that way too!

I am not a card-carrying member of the Audubon Society, but I have been birding, semi-seriously, for decades. One of my first childhood experiences that I can remember was of going to an AS meeting, in which California Condors were being discussed. This was in SoCal, and there were still condors in ...

Gelled fuel is used by USFS for controlled burns. Perhaps it has something to do with the Hammonds? I don't know why the message didn't make it clear, but perhaps Moe is supposed to already know the background? Maybe the Hammonds or maybe just meant to demonize the USFS (look at how they treat the ...

Re: Bundy Trials - Oregon

I googled "gelled fuel" didn't help me understand what the big deal was. I don't know what Flash 21 does, but napalm is made by adding a gelling agent to petroleum to turn it into a jelly type substance. That website says it is used by the US Forest Service and shows an image of an airplane dumping...

What is more interesting to me was the largest single purchaser of Bundy's cattle: George Jessop of Virgin, UT. That's in the vicinity of Colorado City (FLDS) and Cane Beds (LaVoy's stomping ground). It makes me wonder if Jessop, FInicum, and Bundy were well-acquainted and friendly with one another...

Bundy sold a bunch of cattle over the past few years. His financial records submitted to court (for public defender) sorta skipped over that. This article is from a few days ago. No, I don't think so. Not like that. And it was pretty much one interviewer, one transcriber doing it like that. Difference in style? That's why some are suggesting he said "50 odd miles," with the "d" sound in "odd" pronounced like a "t". However, others are saying Finicum said "50 aught miles" b...
