Re: President Trump

No, he won't. He'll appeal, then he'll ignore it, then he'll find new grounds to refuse, and they'll sue again and then he'll appeal and the The Treasury will find a rule and they'll say the law says 'any tax return" but that's not the same as "any specific tax return" and really just means they can...

I would - seriously - pay to see that! If you paid for the ticket, your grandkids might get to see the show. The ONLY THING LEFT, THE ONLY THING THAT CAN'T BE EFFECTIVELY IGNORED, is impeachment. And even if they did that and even if the Senate went along, I'm not very confident the greasy fuck wou...

Re: UK - United Kingdom - England, Wales, Scotland, N. Ireland

Boris might have the votes to be Tory Party Head, but does the party have an actual majority? Is it remotely possible that he wins the poll and one of the Conservatives coalition partners pulls the plug and forces the General Election rather than let him become the PM? Sorry, I should know better th...

I do miss the days of well crafted and and intelligent statements, like when George W. Bush would speak off the cuff. :rotflmao: missmeyet.jpg Was Bush even invited? Oh, well, my fears of Kristallnacht proved groundless. Just 2.5 mil down the storm drain. That's what they admit to, I'd bet it was a...

Not fully on topic, but Twitter claims that today is 9 years since I created my account. :daydream: Newcomer. Apparently, last March was 10 years for me. With only 15 followers and 52 posts, Avenatti would probably mock my unimportance if I gave him a chance. I'm almost tempted to find out if he wo...

I can't recall why I think I know this, but for some reason I think that ruling might mean that within 40 years the groundwater under North and South Carolina might be toxic meaning they'll have to import water for taps and drinking, the natural water being too contaminated for much else. Its like F...

No worries for the eggbeaters, I've flown in near gale winds (I don't recommend it) off the coast of Central America.

Thunderstorm over DC half a mile from an airstrip, yawn.

Re: Trump's military parade

Gregg, you were a military pilot, right? You don't think they are going to be doing demo flybys in this weather? Yes, and hard to tell. AF1 is certainly capable of flying in much worse weather, but its kind of a big thing to risk doing. If the boss says fly, though, they'll fly. The B2 is another k...

And no, the event wasn't put together too fast. They have tried to keep the details from leaking for too long, so they didn't get around to letting anyone who needed to know in on the plans. Make no mistake, this little Klan Rally has been in the ''putting together'' phase for at least a year.

As to Aircraft One. Is is Aircraft One if he's not on it? Too fine a distinction, maybe? When he's not onboard, its Special Air Mission 28000, said ''SAM Two-Eight Thousand''. If he's in an Army Aircraft (which has only happened a few times) its Army One and if he's in a civilian Aircraft, which ha...
