I don’t get those emails anymore. The busybodies at my internet provider must be hogging them for themselves.

All I get are early morning phone calls warning of overnight credit card charges or that I am facing criminal charges related to my taxes or Social Security Number.

Sure, anybody can “practise” law, like practising baseball, but will that practice make them competent? Not Gavy’.

Re: CHRISTOPHER BRUCE: The Mighty Spork

That is mighty challenge Foggy, worthy of a contest.
You will have to empanel a virtual Grand Jury to judge the entries.

My suggestion is that Sporky go big.

He should run for President under the America’s Deadly Sins Party banner. There is still time for a Super PAC to be organized.

If the (replacement) engine has gone $38,000 miles, the vehicle must have seen a lot of miles. The issues Sporky identifies don't sound like trivial problems. It likely will cost thousands to repair the stated problems, with further costs for problems yet to be discovered. The furnace and water heat...

Yeah, but I was wondering about the "shrift" part on its own. I think most of us know what the phrase "given short shrift" means with the noun in combination.
