Is the Time cover real? If so, what a way to make the cover again. :swoon:
Yep, it’s on their home page and all over the Twitter Machine.

Probably not going to be on display at Maralago. But you never know.

We registered to vote on Primary Day. W2 went with Republican so he can harangue Susan Collins with some teeth. I just couldn’t do it. Independents can’t vote in party elections here, so for the first time in my life, I’m an actual Democrat. :cantlook: Those Dark Side cookies better be good.

Re: The Splitting up of Families

From Facebook. WARNING— I’ve not done any research on this... Those of us in the adoption reform and rights community have been worried about this for awhile. There is only 1 birthmother to like 36 want-to-be adopters, many MANY of them evangelicals. They don't want children from the foster system, ...

Coconut oil is good for a lot of things but very good for cooking and baking.
Dumb question... is coconut oil a new thing? Did some new source appear? Did it replace Crisco or something? I swear it wasn’t on my radar a few years ago, but now it’s everywhere. Even in crafting applications.

What a face! Sweet little kitty. :lovestruck: What's the name? :bighug: Tricksie. I figure 3-4 weeks before we get her. Already reading cat manuals and making lists. She’s 8 weeks old, but we want her to get some learning in. Hmmm... *I’m* the one reading manuals, not the kitty. Tricksie is really ...

Re: No Catz but Kate's OK

My new kittie is now named Tricksie and will be coming home with us at 12 weeks, about July 12. I’m reading 3 books on kitten care and raising good cat citizens. I have a list of things to buy. Tricksie is the Calico. The orange is going home with a sibling kitty. 1A126064-05D7-4D8D-8F63-644A1FC104B...

I am not keen on celebrity culture as well. To me, Bourdain was an un-celebrity. He was both apologetic and unapologetic, searching out real, unglamorous people in their kitchens all over the world, highlighting their ingenuity and their culinary tradition. He cooked and dined with the rich and pau...

As Jenny Lawson (The Blogess) says, DEPRESSION LIES . It gets deep inside you and whispers that you aren’t worthy, that you are a black hole of need that nothing can never fill. It HURTS. Physically, emotionally. There’s a physical everpresent black cloud pressing down on you. It’s exhausting, as if...

We have high tech, rich country coverage of Hawaii's volcano, and no reported fatalities. Guatemala has at least 25 fatalities today and very little media coverage. My crazy evangelical aunt used to watch the 700 Club on her knees to better prepare her for prayer opportunities. She refused to buy ERA laundry detergent (or even watch the commercials) because the detergent sponsored the Equal Rights Amendment. Really. You can see it in the name.

There's a lot of coverage; we have company this weekend, but I'll put some links up if no one else does, after the weekend.
We are the company.
