Re: Trump to eliminate birthright citizenship

My memory is not that great, so I ask, what was the name of the European philosopher who got into the discussion during the "Birther Wars".

Re: Trump to eliminate birthright citizenship

Amendment 14, section 5:

"5. The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."

It seems to me that Wonder Boy has no Constitutional grounds to pull off anything like what he's suggesting.

The Fourth Turning

H/T to Realist for his Facebook post from the Huffington Post (https://goo.gl/IQGtSH) That sent me off to discover what the hell the "Fourth Turning" was all about. What I discovered was pretty chilling. It's a Wiki, FWIW.

Has anyone seen a number for how deep (#whinylittlebitch) Trump's campaign is in debt to venues, hat makers and others who gave Mr. Cheeto credit? I saw a number (I think) that said it was well over $150M. I don't want to run with something unless I can verify it. I'm not referring to the Casino con...

Odd that my search for elections attorney Cliff Arnebeck would lead me to an Ellie Wyatt post. Still miss her. Anyway, I am led to believe that Arnebeck has filed an election fraud case against Hillary. Try though I might and even using my mad research skills, I cannot find what was filed against Hi...

Has anyone got a better shot of Bernie's Bird? It looks like a common goldfinch (female) to me, but there's a lot of folks who think it's a sparrow (along with some sappy commentary.

Re: Supreme Court -- A New Beginning?

With respect to recess appointments; don't they expire at the end of the following Congressional Session? I remember discussions on the topic during the John Bolton nomination to be UN Ambassador, but my memory isn't all it used to be. Also, is there any precedent for punitive action on the intrans...

I have not commented on this thread yet, though I read it daily and it is highly entertaining. While it is easy to dismiss these guys as paranoid, barely-literate hicks, any time a government loses the monopoly on armed force within its borders it is a bad thing. Private, political, or religious mi...

True, that. I'd guess that the Sheriff is deeply involved because they mis believe that he is the only legitimate authority in the County.

After all the dust begins to settle, weren't Plan B, Ella and IUDs the only forms of BC covered in the case? From what I can tell, conventional birth control was not affected by the decision.
