He's thinly slicing garlic. Its a scene from Goodfellas where they show the gang in jail, and they have it set up as nice suite with a bunch of amenities, and they spend a lot of time cooking for entertainment. Thanks. I have to admit I have almost shaved off my fingerprints while shaving garlic. B...

Re: U.S. v. Manafort; Kilimnik; Gates (Guilty Plea): 17-cr-201: USDC for DC; Re Money-Laundering, Conspiracy & FARA

I wonder if Judge Ellis is beginning to regret his “the government is being mean to poor Paulie” position? Ellis is an equal opportunity abuser. He's one of those judges who likes to criticize all of the lawyers just because it gives him pleasure to show others how much smarter than the lawyers he ...

Either Manafort or Cohen was using that draft email method, because I read about it here.

Jails typically have all kinds of signs and voice warnings that calls are monitored. :brickwallsmall: As if these lawyers didn't have enough egg on their faces after yesterday's "He needs to be moved but NEVERMIND" fiasco, I agree with Stern that this email scheme is gross negligence on their part. ...

I suggest anyone with an interest in the Manafort saga read the entire filing by the government. Manafort has perks in his present jail not available to most inmates. He also is blabbing on the phone to people other than his attorneys. :brickwallsmall: The government is using those monitored phone c...

People in the US tend to migrate to areas where there are jobs. The Rust Belt is not one of those areas.
Edit: My inside information tells me that the market for new housing is slowing down.Trump's tariffs on Canada have already added several thousands of dollars to the price of a new home.

I distinctly remember that in the days immediately following September 11, Dershowitz had his mug on TV suggesting that torture should be considered for terrorist suspects. Dershowitz is not an honorable person. It's too bad his "friends" took so long to figure this shit out.
