Re: USA v Roger J. Stone, Jr., USDC-DC, Obstruction, False Statements, Witness Tampering

I was looking at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_granted_executive_clemency_by_Donald_Trump and I noticed that most of the pardons granted by trump came after they had served their sentances, often many years after they served their sentence. I wonder if the political backlash after he ...

Can He?

Mar A Lago is a business, not a private residence. Can he shield his business from bankruptcy court because he happens to have a private residence in the same building?

My wife and I are Fred and Wilma.

When getting introduced to people its fun to watch their reaction. Some people burst out laughing, some try to contain themselves and fail, some need it to be explained to them.

But nobody ever forgets our name.

IIRC, I think the jury has to make special findings about certain conduct before the government can invoke the civil asset forfeiture. I remember they talked the other day about how that instruction should be presented to the jury. But I think I had to wait until after they had a verdict. I don’t k...

Technically only 20% of the ship sunk. The other 80% was repaired and sank in the battle of Leyte a year later.

Realistically, I don't think we'd skew the results very much. I'd be surprised if there are more than ~500K US citizens living abroad.
The State Department estimated the number at 9 million in 2016. There are up to a million each in Canada and Mexico.

What happened happened to Dr number 3? The one who was never served and didn't appear at the trial.

IIRC he didn't know he had been sued until Orly tried to collect, he then tried to reopen the case based on the non service.

Especially how the chains are really thick in one dimension and really thin in another. It almost as if the chains were made of paper.

There was a basket of worthless notes at a coin dealers shop and this was the biggest. They were all $0.65.

I guess I overpaid because that works out to $650 for 100 trillion instead of just $55

What Terry Trussell did in court has a very succinct description in the country of my birth. It is known as "taking the piss".
