Townsend, who opted to represent himself in the case, denied ever threatening officers, but was discredited by a document filed in the city, asking "when is it okay to shoot a police officer."

I want to jump into this thread to vent for a moment and voice a word of caution. I'm doing some political work on the side in addition to my day job as a Courtroom Monkey TM , and fundraising is tough. Lots of donors still seem demoralized from last year, and won't give to candidates. The fact tha...

The Buzzfeed article sure paints a more sympathetic figure than does April Ryan.

So she's finally decided she can no longer work for a bigot. Good for her. Better late than never.

It currently shows Jones at 80%, down from 90% just 10 seconds ago. It can fluctuate (due to the relatively limited data and the uncertainty in its modeling). But it was painfully accurate last year; folks around me were all celebrating Clinton's inevitable win until I showed them NYT's site. Well,...

I know Karl made a couple of shout-outs to Dowdell, but has Dowdell actually acknowledged Karl and his Florida adventure? I wish he would, but haven't seen it, so I'd bet Dowdell is refusing to respond or help Karl in any way. And you can't blame him, given what has happened to his Colorado buddies.
