You're a better person than I, Bill. I'm all aboard the Darwinian evolution train when it comes to idiot denialists and woo-peddlers who are going to get other people killed. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

After the news that a copper surface is deadly to the virus, they choose silver. Of course they do.

I didn’t believe him in ‘16 when he said he could (would) do all the jobs himself. I do now. He doesn’t seem to be very good at it though. He can’t multi-task, can’t delegate, and can’t think things through or apply knowledge from one discipline to another. Wisdom? Fuggedaboudit. Some fucking presid...

I’m painting and redecorating my office today to get ready! 😂 Not really, but it was the last room to be used, and as we moved in and unpacked, the things we put off dealing with in the Marie Kondo way all went into the office. Sigh. Moving furniture, setting up to make masks, decluttering today. Ya...

Re: Fogbow woodworkers' club

Are your dead trees rotten or can you use them? I had a woodworking friend who had a friend who worked for CalTrans. His friend had a list if desired species and Peter had an old International pickup with a winch. Friend’d call whenever they had to clear those species out somewhere. His yard was ful...

I had forgotten how sweet John Prine is.

I’m streaming tears rn. Part nostalgia, partly because these lyrics have a whole new meaning for me now, and finally just because I love his music and his heart so much.

Namaste y’all.

Just went to 2 hospitals in LA to check out these “War Zones” the MSM keeps telling us about.🏥 Hey Dipshit, I guess you don’t read anything but right-wing rags, so you probably missed the part about regular hospitalizations being moved to the floating Navy hospital to keep these hospitals free for ...

When mr520 was preparing for surgery we met with a nutritionist. To her, the most important meal of the day is lunch. Breakfast is sort of optional, depending on other factors, lunch should be huge and nutritious, dinner should look like yours, V - smallish, light, varied, proteinious (is that a wor...

My teacher today said to see how it goes the first time, in terms of over-talking etc. each person with the app can mute themselves, and block their camera, for the whole thing or temporarily.

If it’s unwieldy, we may want to have two or three hosts. We can circulate, like a cocktail party 🥂
