i'm sure that's going to rustle up heretofore undecided voters in manhattan and DC. The Lincoln Project has used its outside voice in saying many of its ads aren't even aimed at voters, but intended to throw the targets off their game. A day brooding, lashing out, responding, etc., is a day they're...

Re: Donald J. Trump for President v. Cegavske (Nevada)

Would this not invalidate ALL those other states which allow this practice? Technically, no, in that this case is only about Nevada's laws. But a win in the 9th would set off a chain of copycat lawsuits in other states in 9th's jurisdiction. And a win in SCOTUS would set off nationwide copycat laws...

Re: Donald J. Trump for President v. Cegavske (Nevada)

What is the likelihood this lawsuit will actually make it to SCOTUS? Fairly high, I think. Likely scenario: Plaintiffs will seek a preliminary injunction; it'll either be denied or not sufficiently robust, so plaintiffs ask the 9th for the same relief; ditto, so onto SCOTUS. Now the courts' respons...

Still possible, but he's not making up enough ground. The latest:

ARPAIO, JOE 136,419 36%
CRAWFORD, MIKE 97,250 26%
SHERIDAN, JERRY 136,960 37%

541 vote difference. (Sheridan's largest lead yet.)

My state has an online track-your-mail-in-ballot feature. So absent widescale hacking or clerk incompetence, you'll know when your mail-in ballot was count...
