Trump isn't speaking? I was looking forward to seeing how he mispronounces "Eisenhower". We could have had a poll!

I always thought it was funny that my cars have always had lighter sockets, but no lighters. My last car had three. They had little labels saying they were only for use as chargers.

ORAC has written an article about the 6% meme. https://respectfulinsolence.com/2020/08/31/only-six-percent-gambit-latest-viral-covid-19-disinformation/ He mentions something that bugged me too. Why are there any death certificates that only list Covid? They should all be some immediate cause of deat...

The article has the following at the bottom in italics. Paul R. Hollrah is a retired government relations executive and a two-time member of the U.S. Electoral College. He currently lives and writes among the hills and lakes of northeast Oklahoma’s Green Country. Yeah, I saw that. That looks to be ...

If you need to make it a double feature, borrow or rent The Emperor's New Groove. Best Disney cartoon ever. Hilarious, top notch cast. Set in Mayan America, Eartha Kitt voices the evil priestess. John Goodman is the hapless farmer bullied by the smart ass emperor, perfectly cast as David Spade, unt...

I'm perfectly happy with their using the phrase "Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon". We don't know what it is, we don't even know if it is an object, or just a trick of the light. The way it is described to move, it probably wouldn't be flying in any sense we know.
