Re: Treating chronic pain

I used the oil for for a severe back problem that troubled me for several years. At first I thought is was a waste of money, but 3 weeks in the pain disappeared. When it returned later, I used the oil again for a month with the same results. When it works, it works! But not overnight. If you don't ...

I have a friend who lives in NYC, and she posted yesterday that she got a call (she has done a bit of acting) for extra work on the cold open. She's going to be part of a MAGA crowd. I hope I recognize her!

By the way, there are lots of videos at YouTube showing the reaction of color blind people trying out their EnChroma glasses for the first time.

Dropbox will keep old versions of files for 30 days under its free and regular ($120/year) plans. Its $200/year plan allows you to go back 180 days. Oh, I did not know that! Time for me to look at the documentation! It's actually really easy to do if you're after just one file. View your files by l...

I use Dropbox, but if a file is corrupted on your PC, wouldn't it also be corrupted on Dropbox? I have real-time syncing; maybe you have that turned off? Watching figure skating. Unfortunately the video has been removed due to a copyright claim. However, I watched both the men's and women's long programs. Boy, the men's was rough, except for Nathan's. It was great to see Jason Brown on the podium, though. I wish he could get a couple consistent quad...

I sympathize. Two weeks ago my laptop starting acting funny (it’s old) but it repaired itself enough so I could do a backup to an external hard drive. I used to work in IT... I should know better. I do a more regular backup of my most important files to Dropbox. Have you explored using a cloud serv...

My mother had a weird drug reaction that sounds similar. Her doctors wanted to move her from Lorazepam to Prozac because the state regulations have changed making it more inconvenient for THEM. Anyway, she had to take both for a while because they aren't a 1:1 replacement. After 2+ months on the Pro...

That kind of pain is the worst pain in the world. I had a similar thing about 20 years ago and I still shudder to think about it. I read once that a guy tried to shoot out his bad tooth once, and I almost understand it.

It's awful that they can't give you anything for the pain. That's fucked up.

And was there a wax seal on it?

I bet HRC is sweating bullets.

Green Acres. It's on Prime and it's adorable.
My mother is watching it on MeTV; I noticed it was on her DVR and asked her about it. She said "I love it, it's so funny!" I remember thinking it was stupid when I was a sullen teenager; maybe I'll check it out again!
