Yeah, Twitter with 15k+ followers is really not the same as Twitter with 3k followers. Still kind of feeling my way, tbh. You are doing great. But your one mention flooded some jerk's notifications! :swoon: I can't even imagine yours. I don't even try to keep up with notifications anymore....

Culp is a nutter. Fun fact: Culp failed to submit his full statement for the voter's pamphlet, then blamed the SOS office, but then admitted he never actually sent it: https://www.sos.wa.gov/office/news-releases.aspx#/news/1406 Just before the election, his followers were all over FB still blaming ...

I really appreciate it.
It's been a strange month - and a strange few years for me. Honestly, I'm reeling in a lot of ways.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten Sr. revealed in his four-page directive that he held a hearing via Zoom Sunday evening on the suit — one of two cases filed in federal courts last week by Sidney Powell, an outspoken Texas attorney who joined President Donald Trump’s legal team earlier this month ...

Re: 2020 Election Lawsuits
Honestly, no idea what's going on.
I suspect that the judge, having had his Sunday ruined by attorneys brawling over a TRO, may have gone with "OK, I'll issue this limited one that preserves alleged evidence but Imma let them appeal it if they want."

Yeah - The Bulwark contracted me after the Thanksgiving thread and commissioned a piece. The RawStory one is extremely annoying - if you read it, it's like 80-85% quotes from my tweets with some connecting words. Writing the Bulwark one was way more work than I thought. (Which shouldn't be a surpris...

So the 2nd order in the case isn't listed as a corrected or amended or revised order or anything like that. (Nothing at all on the docket, but based on how long it took the complaint to go up NDGA is just slow on updates.) What I'm wondering - What are the odds that the judge circulated something t...

Can someone please clarify for me exactly which case it was that Trump's team won? I've heard conflicting information on this. Also, how many votes (if any) did it affect? The case they won-won was a PA case where the cure deadline for some ballots - I think ones with ID issues - had been extended ...

I've really enjoyed your litigation analysis over the last (days? weeks?, losing track), fabulous work. I mean, it's 2020. What are days and weeks? I started doing twitter thread run-throughs last year when I blundered (along with a bunch of other lawyers) into just an absurdly terrible SLAPP suit,...

And, in another case, apparently tried to sue the prosecutor who went after him. (Apparently, beat his fiancee then sued her to get the engagement ring back - perfect Trump lawyer.) I did give the "not helping" thing some thought (and that's part of why I went with MI instead of GA), but h...

Regardless of your beliefs, the law authorizes her to exercise her discretion. Courts have a healthy respect for when laws delegate that kind of authority. Even when the law is being abused in bad faith. Which is why a lawsuit has yet to be filed. This. Earliest a lawsuit could be filed, realistica...

Also, experienced lawyers are chortling on twitter that if DT wins on the narrow issue of right to amend, he has forfeited the other legal issues (standing, redressability, that he could have raised on the this appeal, and can't raise them in the court of appeals if he loses on them a second time i...

It may be that people feel a bit safer and more hopeful, now that we have an actually sane person (OK, two of them) who will be inaugurated in 59 days. But we still have a birther-style madness sweeping this great nation, with a lot of birther-style lawsuits being filed (and dismissed). And, sad to...

*tap* *tap* *tap* This thing on? I drifted away a year or two ago partly because I was doing a lot more on Twitter and partly because my anger level with politics had hit a point where I wanted to back out a litte bit. That was probably a mistake, and I'm going to try to fix it, at least a bit. Betw...
