Re: Hijack this thread

I just got off the phone with Woodworker and his surgery went well. They apparently replaced his blood with morphine and he is in no pain. He should be out of the hospital this weekend, hopefully in time for the UCLA/USC game. I expect he will be back on the Fogbow in just a few days.

Re: CHRISTOPHER BRUCE: The Mighty Spork

Just when we need it the Spork comes through. His complaint will carry me through the evening. It's not Orly's unique "voice," or SovCit nuttery, but it has it's own charm of "how can they do this to me?" I hope this is the beginning of a number of frivolous court filings that will divert me from pa...

Re: Virtual Drunk Tank

I've been in France since November 1. I believed the last week of the campaign would be ugly and so it would be nice to take a vacation outside the US. In that sense it worked. We had very little media, just some emails and no television. Got lots of emails from friends in the US saying how lucky we...

Re: Hijack this thread

Just gave our last 3 pieces (Reese Peanut Butter Cups) away to our last and oldest trick-or-treater. He probably was walking home from work from the nearest market and saw our Halloween decorations and knocked and scored the end of our candy. We had more kids than we ever have had before, 20-30. Pro...

Re: "We haven't disappeared; We're just traveling."

A wise choice. The wife and I are leaving for France for a few weeks November 1. I figure it will be a slow news week. Are you taking Woodworker? Woodworker has been hired as a guard and cat sitter at Castle Geritol. Then we have to make sure when we come back that he doesn't take our cat Obe back ...

‎Jeff Banta‎ to Cliven Bundy's Army! 12 hrs Today I got the chance to converse with Ryan and Ammon, for the first time we were able to say sentences. which is more than the usual " morning", which I found out early on while talking to David Fry, was about all the marshals were going to allow. Well, if the FB is a bubble, it's a semipermeable one.

It's the best place to go for court documents and original and secondary source materials for many things of interest. What we find interesting maybe inside the bubble but our links aren't.

Curt Schilling is also one of those sports figures that collects "World War II" memorabilia. Invariably it seems to consist of Nazi ensignias, uniforms, and swastikas.

Those kind of collections always creep me out.

Normal analysis will only get you so far with Trump. It all goes out the window if he's in the middle of defending one of his indefensible positions: his failure as a business man, problems with any of the Trump brand, the "Mexican" heritage of his perceived enemies, anti-Semetic postings, etc., etc...

A Happy 4th to All.

We're off to friends for traditional 4th fare, then hurry back home to see our neighborhood's annual homage to the Battle of Verdun. Citizens and non-citizens all participate, and maybe this is the year they set the San Gabriel Mountains on fire.

Re: POST VERDICT TERRY TRUSSELL DISCUSSION - THE AFTERMATH

If you're a grifter, it isn't common practice to go to the trial of a fellow grifter. They probably don't visit them in jail, either.

Your goal is to keep the con going. You really don't want to be seen around someone who has been caught selling the same snake oil you've been peddling.

Re: GUILTY! Day 5 Videos STATE OF FLORIDA v TERRY TRUSSELL 061016

I leave it to Woodworker to supply the legal underpinnings of the appeal. But for the unfortunate, misguided, aged and senile Terry Trussell who will appear at his sentencing: I still believe the wheel chair and oxygen tank hookup are his best bet. I will assume he will not have shaved or had a hair...

Re: Charles Lincoln's thread for ... whatever

Starting my morning coffee with CELIII isn't my favorite way to start the day. But it is a reminder that people like him are real people in a real world. It is far too easy to think of him as a comical character, something he seems to work at. But he is a real person, who I believe does real damage ...

Guilty and 4 years plus.

Bonus Points: He appears at sentencing in a wheel chair breathing through an oxygen mask.

Oops. I'm confusing him with Sheriff Arpaio. So many felons to keep track of.

A tough act to follow but I think she out Orlyed Orly. A masterpiece of blather, nonsense, and crackpot ideas. I hope her attorney doesn't try to interfere or edit her output. It is the thing itself: Ground Zero of Crazy.
