Re: Ms Warren Has Some Serious Class

Have (some of) the Fogbow become birthers? Some publisher's PR person erroneously wrote that Obama was born in Kenya, and we don't say it was Obama's fault. Some HR person attributed Native American ancestry to Warren and it's her fault. Obama includes his Kenyan heritage in what makes him who he is...

My brother has been taking the train up from San Diego to be around some of the time. I also have some friends (who are also neighbors; I've been friends with one family for a decade before I moved here) who will lend support. I have a diagnosis - extramedullary plasmacytoma. Of all the possibilitie...

Re: Hijack this thread

I have a diagnosis - extramedullary plasmacytoma. Of all the possibilities, this sounds like one of the most treatable. I start chemotherapy Friday. Since the chemo will suppress the immune system, I also will be taking an antiviral, and have to avoid crowds. So there is at least one benefit to alre...

SpaceX Launch Facing west from my house. The rocket is in the upper-left, moving to the left. On the right side, near the middle, is what looks like a horizontal line made of two orangish dots; that is the booster moving to the right, returning to Vandenburg. Re: Awesome Photographs and Stuff

Last week I had a needle biopsy of bone marrow from my hip. I was told to leave the dressing on for 24 hours. After I removed it, my brother asked how well it had healed. Since I couldn't see it, I used a selfie stick to take pictures (which I did not share with anyone). Be grateful that there isn't...

For me, more accurately out from the ER last night. Late August, I was having pain in my right arm and shoulder. I had helped a neighbor move a large cabinet, which I lunged for when it slipped and started to fall, and I thought I'd pulled a muscle. I also noticed a bump on my side, which I thought ...

I have a neighbor who is Catholic, and another who is Mormon. In the past, I've heard each say that that the other "isn't really Christian". I should add that these neighbors are themselves good friends, so "not being Christian" wasn't something they held against the other. Once, when my Mormon neig...

Kavanaugh threads seem to be breeding like Bundys.
