Re: Trump - POTUS Tweets and Social Media

No, he's winning whining and winning whining and winning whining, because he's such a great winner whiner. Of course, he did warn us that he was going to win whine so much that he'd get tired of winning whining. He needs to take a break from winning whining, is what it is. FIFY.

I'm not a big fan of Press Your Luck, but I like Classic Concentration and Password. The Match Game is fine to have on in the background when I'm checking out the internet.

The Twin Cities have had Buzzr TV over the air for quite a while. I recently discovered that you can also watch what they're broadcasting live on their website.

Yeah, getting that mortgage off your back is a HUGE plus. We paid ours off in fifteen years, celebrated, and started using that money for our future. When we bought our house in Dec 1980, our mortgage was 14% . We refinanced a few years later for 11%, but paying those high interest rates wa...

Re: Hijack this thread

My husband was fanatical about saving for retirement. We always bought less house than we could have qualified for and paid off our last mortgage in fifteen years. While I was naturally frugal and a saver (we paid off our house in 14 years :) ), it was my husband who was passionate about investing....

There’s nothing more annoying than living in an area with tornadoes, blizzards, and severe thunderstorms and have a TV weather person hyping every storm as if it’s a pending disaster.

Three things EVERY adult knows: 1) If you eat more calories than you burn, you will not lose weight. 2) If you spend more than you make, you will go into debt. 3) If you don't save for retirement, you will have very limited choices in retirement. Isn't it interesting that, even though every single p...

And when you don't get your way, you simply declare an emergency. The Bad President is setting a Bad Precedent.
So are McConnell and the rest of the Republicans who refuse to rein Trump in.

It's real easy to be judgemental when it comes to weight. Since you have absolutely no clue as to what the other person's health and challenges are, I suggest you keep your opinions to yourself. Low thyroid is extremely common in women, for example. I've been taking thyroid pills for years. It certa...

Trump purportedly fears stairs. He certainly grabs a stair rail if there is one. I wonder if his lifts have anything to do with that.

Matronly is far too polite. She looks like her father and is as fat as he is.
No fat shaming the 25-yr old law student.

Donald, on the other hand, dishes it out so he’s fair game.

Beautiful dress... just the wrong style for her. Some folks have an innate sense of what looks good on them. Other folks need a bit of help. Hopefully a good friend of Tiffany will give her some pointers.

I went to renew my Sirius radio and add all access (i.e. streaming) so I can listen on my iPhone, and when they told me the cost for the year, including taxes and fees, would be $328.68, I said, Oh, no, just cancel my account. By the way (I had to look this up because I'm not a fashion person) the dress for the state dinner was "white tie" or "white tie and tails." It's the most formal evening style of dress for men, more formal than just a tuxedo. Wikipedia has an article on it - White Tie.

Re: Dotus Stranded On The Islands

When I read about the gifts Trump receives from foreign governments, I wonder if he really understands that they are gifts for the President of the United States, not gifts to him personally, and he doesn't get to take them home at the end of his term (unless he pays fair market value for them).
